Paying made easy & stress free

After having my son & needing the necessary & even unnecessary items a baby demands, afterpay made it easier for me & reduced the exorbitant amount of stress I was having at the cost of everything by offering payments I could handle & not having to wait until everything was paid off before actually receiving what was paid for

Pros:

I love that you can shop at tons of different places, both online & in person, & instead of paying what could likely be a hefty amount you can split the total into 4 more easily affordable payment with no interest charged

Cons:

While there are a lot of places available to shop using afterpay & even some you're introduced to that are amazing, there are still places like Walmart that aren't available yet

It is great for businesses and customers!

My overall experience with Afterpay is very beneficial for a business and a customer. This payment plan allows businesses to get more customers because of the flexibility it brings. It helps the client make big purchases but make it more manageable.

Pros:

Afterpay is an amazing addition to include to your business and personal life. If clients need to make a large purchase, they can split the payment into 4 charges (without any interest). These payments are made every 2 weeks. It is amazing for people that need to spread out a large payment. I have also used it for my own personal purchases for large items.

Cons:

Afterpay does have late fees if you do not pay your payment on time. Although, you can set up automatic payments for the card you used the first payment for, so unless you do not have the money in your account, you will not be charged a late fee.

Helpful if you are short on money.

It has been helpful when I have been short on money but expensive in the long run and will even effect your credit if you cant make payments on time

If you dont have the money up front to pay for your purchase then you can use afterpay as payment method to pay for your purchase without having all of the money up front.

Cons:

They charge alot more in the long run for your purchase. To the point that may only be worth it if you really need whatever you are wanting to purchase and you can make the payments on time.

Overall, I absolutely love it! I would recommend it to anyone. I love being able to purchase something that is of high value and given the opportunity to pay over time.

I loove Afterpay! It is super convenient and allows you to get more for your money and make payments over time.

Cons:

Not a lot of stores use After pay, so sometimes you were limited to what you could used it for. But most likely, you will find one of your favorite stores or brands that offer it.

Quick and simple

I was able to sign up easy and quick. Was simple process that can understand. The home page is set up perfectly and easy to navigate. Stores listed with image and words that are great to be able to see them. Different things listed at the start making it a great experience without the hassle of not finding what you need or want. Adding my card for payments isn't hard at all. You can extend your payment date if needed. Lots of stores listed. Some places have AfterPay as a option at checkout making it quick and easy.

Unfair Practice!! Scammers

Was going smoothly until I made my payment 1 day late.

Being able to pay off early.

Cons:

My payment was due February 14th and due to my hectic work schedule I forgot but made my payment the next day on February 15th. Afterpay lowered my available amount from $1000 to $700 and dropped my credit by 12 points. A 7 day grace period is given but they still punish you for being 1 day late. I don't need this type of stress in my life so I'm closing my account.

Easy to pay with Afterpay

Love it and use it a lot on unexpected expenses that you don't budget for, like car repairs, or something kids need for school or sports

That you can make purchases and be able to pay it off in 4 installments, so getting that something you need of want so much easier

That the installments are every second week and some people gets paid monthly, that it the only thing I can think off that can be a con.

Avoid Afterpay, false advertising

They advertise a Buyer is protected when using their service which is completely false. I purchased through Afterpay and the retailer filed for bankruptcy before I revived my order. I asked them for assistance and was turned down and told to contact the retailer, who no longer is responding to emails. Complete waste of money, find a service that actually cares about it's customers. AVOID Afterpay!!
