- Some enhancements to its integrations would make Dashworks even more valuable long-term. But even as-is, it's an amazing tool for knowledge management.
- One thing I didn't love about Dashworks was some limitations with its integrations to our proprietary homegrown systems. While it integrated well out-of-the-box with popular apps like Slack and Salesforce, getting it to sync with our internal custom database required extra IT work.
- Since my company already uses most of the other products in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, SharePoint provides a basic way of sharing files across the different apps and between coworkers/teams.
- Managing access in SharePoint is notoriously difficult. Because you can set permissions at the Site, Library, Folder, and even individual File level, things get messy fast.
