About FastField

FastField is a cloud-based data entry solution that helps businesses of all sizes gather data, create forms and collect information via tablets and smartphones. Primary features include question branching, collaboration, version control, text editing, dispatch and form routing, duplicate detection and more.

FastField provides white-label solutions to personalize forms with custom logo, color, themes and fonts. The platform includes automation tools, which allows organizations to manage forms dispatch and delivery of data. Additionally, the geotagging module lets users add latitude/longitude coordinates and timestamps to forms and track attributes of data collection.

FastField includes built-in dashboard that enables enterprises to view performance metrics and track trends for businesses. Its mobile applications for Android and iOS devices enable organizations to remotely manage business activities. The product is available on a monthly subscription pricing and support is extended via phone, email and documentation.

Creating forms using FastField has been fantastic it provides the necessary tools for quick and easy creation, data collection is much more concrete and easy to analyze. The application is very easy to use and all forms can be distributed quickly

Cons:

I can't say that I dislike anything because the entire process of creating forms is easy and the application and the website have always worked correctly

Easy to set up and start using!I was able to set up and start using forms right away. Customer service was there to help with some of my more complicated workflow ideas.

Cons:

Some limitations to what I can imagine for the software, but they were very receptive to my ideas!

Form Building made simple and the Ease of use is perfect. Plenty of field options when building your form. Multiple delivery options for forms (email, google drive, etc).

Cons:

I really can't think of any cons for Fastfields at the moment. It has been perfect for our uses as of this review.

Overall, it was a great program; the company just outgrew it and needed more adaptability involved in day-to-day operations.

The way you could create your forms to show photographs and notes which was very helpful during our estimates and inspections.

Cons:

The least I liked about the program was that it didn't have progression over the year we had it, and we needed more than what the program could offer as far as sharing and signature capabilities.

Excellent package at an affordable price

Employees on site have now switched to Fastfield forms. It allows for fast and accurate data entry, has a well-designed mobile app and features such as baking in scripts in your forms. Whenever a form is submitted, I can use automation platforms to trigger a business workflow. Fastfield has integrations that allows forms to be submitted to platforms such as Sharepoint. Forms can even be sent in JSON or xml formats. They also have native support for multi-level approval processes.

1. Ease of integration with automation platforms and services 2. Excellent and fast customer support(usually answer within a day). Even managed to organise a face-to-face meeting with one of the support engineers.

Powerful Reporting Platform

FastField is a powerful platform that can significantly improve and streamline how data is collected from the work team. The ability to build a totally customisable form, that can then be translated onto an independently-created document, allows for professional reporting. While there was a steep learning curve, help was readily available in the form of step-by-step documents, and FastField staff, who can tailor help to your specific issue.

Pros:

The fact that you can create a user-friendly form with all the complexity in calculations/information hidden in the background. This allows you to collect lots of information to format into a report, without overloading the user. The support from the help desk is also fantastic, and they're keen to assist with maximising your use of FastField.

Cons:

The original learning process is quite difficult, although there is a vast array of documents to help talk you through the capabilities of FastField. I also found that, because it's an American system (and I am based in the UK), that there is a delay in receiving a response from admin, although this is a minor issue.

Great for automating equipment auditing

Overall experience was positive. Depends on how the job has been set up - I was using a template created by someone else - I quickly got into the flow of completing all the details and taking photos, et.

The setup was very easy. The format on mobile devices was very easy for users to pick up.Its easy to see the benefit of many different applications for this product. Our uses will be asset management and capturing service call out records in real time.The support has been very good when we have needed it. The price is very reasonable.

Cons:

Occasionally there are records within the data that are missing on mandatory fields, but its rare.
