Simple form publisher gives non marketing/web design staff the ability to create and publish forms

Easy to use and set up. Was up and running within hours. Seamless integration into the CRM saved time and resources on data entry.

Pros:

Easy to use with a drag and drop interface. Easily connects to our CRM (Salesforce) to create new records instantly. Branching logic allows you to build a single form for multiple audiences. Hidden fields allow for tracking and segmentation in the CRM. Ability to collect payment, save forms and return to them and many more. Customer service is responsive via email and even social media. User community is willing to share best practices, ideas, and help problem solve.

Cons:

Would like to see more reporting ability directly out of Form Assembly. Within a form where the field is a date field, I would like the ability to restrict users from selecting certain dates (like weekends for appointments, etc).

A Reliable Form Builder with Exceptional Salesforce Integration

My overall experience with FormAssembly has been awesome. It’s a powerful platform for building and managing web forms, particularly when it comes to complex data collection and integration with systems like Salesforce. I found the drag-and-drop builder intuitive for basic use, but also appreciated how deeply customizable it became once I got more familiar with connectors and advanced logic.

Reasons for switching to FormAssembly

We switched from Salesforce Forms to FormAssembly primarily because we needed a more flexible, powerful, and user-friendly platform to handle complex form workflows and integrations. Salesforce Forms served basic needs but quickly showed limitations when it came to advanced logic, multi-object record creation, and dynamic data handling. FormAssembly offered a richer feature set—like robust conditional logic, dynamic picklists tied to live Salesforce data, and superior connectors—which allowed us to automate more processes without custom development. Additionally, FormAssembly’s interface is more intuitive for non-technical users, empowering our team members to build and modify forms independently, reducing IT bottlenecks. Its stronger support for compliance and data security also gave us peace of mind for sensitive data collection. Overall, the switch improved our data quality, reduced manual entry, and accelerated workflows—all critical factors for our growing organization.

Essential Tool for Salesforce Users!

FormAssembly is an awesome and essential tool for Salesforce admins! It's easy to use and very affordable. The people are also great.

Easy Salesforce integration and form building! It's simple and intuitive to integrate and map Salesforce fields.

Cons:

Customizing a form's format and style is difficult. The interface is also a little outdated, although functional.

It is okay

I don't use FormAssembly very often but from the few times that I have, it is overall hard to use both for creating and for those using the form.

I like how customizable it is to make the form. You can really make it your own using your own branding, or images to make it fun.

Cons:

It is a challenging tool to create a form. I also have noticed that there are some challenges when it comes to data collection into Salesforce.

Salesforce loves Form Assembly

Overall, the platform, support and service has been very good and I would recommend it to any company that want's to track database enagement for online and presential events.

Pros:

Connectors and workflows are very powerful, especially Salesforce prefill and after submission, you can really close the gap with your customer communication.

Cons:

It is not always easy to manage non-technical users even with templates. Connectors could be saved by modules so users could be able to add different logic patterns and connect with their forms.

Again, the Salesforce connector shows that Form Assembly development team knows Salesforce a lot.

Salesforce connector was a terrible experience to set up and unable to do what we needed.

Money well spent!

Overall, the platform allows us to manage multiple forms that rely on automation with ease. Having so much control over the style was a huge plus for us as we focus on creating a strong brand. Being able to easily connect the forms to Salesforce for real time data updates is also huge as we can quickly connect the dots and better serve our community!

Easy to use and deploy. Getting the forms built takes just a few minutes and has a lot of the same powerful tools of other form apps with less fuss!

Cons:

Sometimes you are not able to clone forms without breaking the connection to Salesforce, and it's not always easy to realize that was the issue.

They wanted too much money to help manage automation and allowing our brand to be front and center

Easy to use tool with drag & drop form builder. You can also get pretty complex with conditional visibility on individual questions or entire sections, as well as performing calculations and adding logic for connectors.

Cons:

I've found that FormAssembly support isn't entirely helpful when it comes to troubleshooting connector errors. I've had an ongoing error with one of my forms that includes a Salesforce connector and they told me to go to Salesforce support, whereas Salesforce support told me to go back to FormAssembly. This error has been active for over 6 months now.

Reasons for choosing FormAssembly

The Salesforce connector offered by FormAssembly was superior.
