About Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is a photo editing and graphic designing solution that helps businesses edit and enhance digital images and create drawings, paintings and animations. It offers a variety of other features such as project tracking, live streaming, offline access, data storage management and more. The application enables employees to collaborate with team members for various projects, configure workflows and render text, vector graphics and 3D graphics. I love all the different things that can be done with adobe photoshop. It can be used in my personal life as well as with my business. It works great for editing photos. I use it for designing my business cards. The logo and graphics can all be edited in the same place. I like that I can a yearly fee to use all of the tools. I can switch from my personal use to business use using a login giving it an extra security feature.
Cons:
Their is a lot of learning to use photoshop. I am constantly watching video tutorials to do different designs. I had a problem with billing and trying to get an actual person to help me took a lot of effort.

Photoshop - the best image enhancement program there is

5

I have been using Photoshop for more than 20 years. It gets better and better as improvements in computers and data storage allow the Photoshop engineers to include more powerful features. Adobe spends enormous resources consulting with its user base. The results demonstrate the users' expertise.

Pros:
Photoshop lets photographers and designers do amazing things to enhance their photographs and designs. It's Adobe Camera Raw plug-in greatly simplifies the process.
Cons:
Photoshop has so many features and so many ways to do essentially the same thing (some of which work better in some situations, and others of which work better in other situations) that the learning curve is enormous--even with the vast learning aids Adobe provides.

Reasons for choosing Adobe Photoshop

Photoshop is more widely used. Thus there is a much vaster array of tutorials, classes, and help from friends available.

Pros:
Adobe Photoshop offers incredible flexibility for photo editing, graphic design, and logo creation. I like how precise its tools are — especially layers, masking, and blending modes, which allow me to refine every detail. The integration with other Adobe apps like Illustrator and Lightroom also makes my workflow smoother. It’s an all-in-one platform for both beginners and professionals.
Cons:
The subscription cost can be quite high for freelancers or small business users. It also requires a powerful computer to run smoothly, and updates sometimes slow down performance. The learning curve for new users can be steep if you’re unfamiliar with advanced tools

Essential part of any designer's toolkit

4

I've used Photoshop for 20+ years, primarily for print and publication design in both design, photo editing/correction and production environments. I've deployed it to teams and trained users on it. For anyone jumping into it for the first time, do lots of tutorials online, not just on creating but also setting up Photoshop for the best workflow - this is definitely a program you will learn by using.

Pros:
Photoshop is an essential part of any designer's toolkit. It's a household name, and everyone has an idea of what it does. But the further you delve into it, the more productivity and time-saving tools you discover, and that is where you really start finding value in it as a busy designer.
Cons:
Photoshop does have a steep learning curve and can be quite overwhelming to new users. Fortunately, this is offset by the number of tutorials, both free and paid, available online. The key for any new user is finding the workspace that suits you—having the right tools showing will make your life a lot easier.

Reasons for choosing Adobe Photoshop

Photoshop has the seniority - it's been around 30+ years and consistently improves and handles the jobs I need it to.
