The free features of PicMonkey are extremely useful and highly efficient. A great tool to resize images for socials with any aspect ratio and complete a wide variety of photo editing processes.

The top photo tool in my opinion!

Overall, it is the best software for photo manipulation and preservation that I have found thus far. I've tried a lot of different ones and I have, as of yet, been unable to find anything even remotely close to PicMonkey!

Pros:

It is soooooooooo easy to use! I'm a photographer and not a computer tech so ease of use is a must-have. I have tried many different types of software for my photo manipulation and photo restoration business but this is the only one I've liked thus far!

Cons:

I wish they had even more options for photo manipulation. In fact, the only thing I liked about Photoshop was the idea I could pick certain things to cut out of the picture and certain things to keep in the picture with ease. With PicMonkey it is unfortunately all or nothing. Your only option is to erase it all by hand, piece by piece for hours, or erase the entire background. There is no picking and choosing. That's why I gave PicMonkey 4 stars and not 5!

Reasons for switching to PicMonkey

My old Photoshop was on my desktop computer and was in the form of a floppy disc. I saw the great pricing for PicMonkey so I decided to see how it would work especially with my laptop. I have to say, I love it!

PicMonkey to the photo editing rescue!

I have used PicMonkey for many years. While they have expanded their features to include more layouts and typography -- I tend to stick with the photo editing features. I also appreciate the library of my saved images for me to come back to and re-use or edit.

I love the editing features. From begin able to do simple color adjustments, apply really a variety of professional and interesting filters to even applying make-up or smoothing out a few crownests between the eye-brows. (Shh...) I also appreciate their exansion into layout and design.

Cons:

I really don't have a negative opinion about PicMonkey. Sometimes I do forget about it and use another editor. That is because I tend to only use in on desktop.

Pros:

I use PicMonkey for my business needs, whether it’s for individual product pictures or scenes for marketing. It’s pretty straightforward and easy to use. PicMonkey is friendlier to use than many other photo editing software.

Cons:

It’s only happened a couple of times but the program would freeze up. Not sure if was the program or me needing to do reboot update. I would enjoy more tutorials to be available.

Pros:

I’m super comfortable with pretty much all the features. PicMonkey has way more tools than most of the other apps I’ve used. It’s perfect when you want to make a nice design quickly.

Cons:

The software itself works fine, no issues for me. But the lack of a free version might push some people to go for alternatives that do offer one.What I really like is messing with colors and actually seeing something good come out of it.
