Campspot is a cloud-based campground management and reservation system. It is designed for RV parks, family campgrounds, glamping resorts, multi-property groups, festivals, municipal parks, marinas, and more throughout the United States and Canada.
Created by park owners for park owners, this platform allows administrative users to book more online reservations with ease in real-time while driving additional revenue through advanced features. Campers also love the modern and intuitive online booking interface.
A proprietary grid optimization algorithm automatically eliminates reservation gaps to get the most out of each campsite. Dynamic pricing suggests real-time rate increases based on bookings. The optional site lock feature allows guests to lock their desired site for an extra fee — generating additional revenue for parks while increasing guest satisfaction.

My experience with Campspot has been excellent. Overall, the software is easy to use, and their customer support is second to none.

Campspot had everything that I felt was lacking in my current reservation system. It also had the management reports that I felt were necessary to run my business. The online reservation of sites and the ability to cancel these sites by customers was also important. This has decreased my telephone time by at least 50%.

It lacked visual online availability status which forced customers to call us regarding sites they wished to reserve. Billing for sites reserved was also done manually in a separate program.

Good for small campgrounds, not so great for larger ones

The Sales process seemed expedited and we were warned many times that "if we didn't sign soon, we might not be able to get implemented for awhile". Now I think that's because some of the items we found during (and after) implementation would have perhaps caused us to make a different decision.

Campspot started out fine with needed improvements etc. Then the improvements became more important than the actual maintenance on the program. The system slowed to the point we replaced all of our computers to no avail after support blamed our internet provider and history. We even had the internet provider come out and check our system which was fine. After we gave notice we were moving to another company they decided we really were having issues they needed to address. But it was too little to late (about a year).
