    What I like most so far is that the product seems solid and easy to use. It looks like it will be a good fit for our needs. The onboarding process went well, and the onboarding specialist, [sensitive content hidden], was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained things clearly, answered our questions, and made the process easier to understand. Having someone who knew the system well made a big difference.
    Cons:
    Overall, the experience has been positive. While the initial sales process did not fully meet expectations and could have been clearer and more thorough, the experience improved significantly once onboarding was complete. Since coming onboard, the team has been responsive, supportive, and easy to work with. Communication has been timely, questions have been addressed quickly, and there is a clear willingness to help and improve. It’s encouraging to see the level of care and professionalism demonstrated after onboarding, and that has gone a long way in building confidence moving forward. With some refinement to the sales process, the overall experience would be even stronger

    Robust and Reliable PMS for Growing Property Management Agencies

    My overall experience has been very positive. The system is stable, powerful, and clearly built with professional property managers in mind. For an agency like mine that manages multiple properties and integrates with several OTAs, Hostaway provides the level of control and reliability I was looking for. I would recommend it to other property managers seeking a scalable and comprehensive PMS solution.

    The onboarding process was smooth and well organized. The onboarding agent was friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive, which made the transition much easier for my agency, Bliss Caribe. Hostaway feels like a robust and professional system specifically designed for property managers. The integrations with OTAs are more complete and reliable than other PMS platforms I’ve previously worked with. This was a key factor in my decision to migrate. The system structure gives me confidence as my portfolio continues to grow.
    Cons:
    The user interface could be slightly more intuitive and visually modern in some sections. While fully functional, there is room for minor UX improvements to make navigation even smoother.

    The integration with VRBO was not reliable enough for my operational needs. As a property management agency, strong and consistent OTA integrations are critical, and I needed a more robust and complete channel management solution.

    [sensitive content hidden] helped me figure out the financials section and correct many errors that I had with my listings to make sure to run accurate financial reports.
    Cons:
    It is a little expensive and there have been a few growing pains with the constant upgrading and changing of the software. Financials were a challenge for me as a I am not an accountant/bookkeeper. The email replies to issues are often not helpful or successful. Usually need to schedule or make a phone call or the issue remains unsolved for weeks in waiting for replies, etc..

    Great PMS for short term villa rentals

    Excellent support, onboarding and strong features. Google Travel works well and payments look professional. However VRBO setup is slow and email design features need improvement.

While many platforms simply point you to their “intuitive” software and leave you to figure things out, Hostaway offered something rare these days: real human support. [sensitive content hidden] not only walked me through the essentials but also highlighted features I never would have discovered on my own — and they’ve already proven incredibly useful. Her help made the entire onboarding process smooth, efficient, and genuinely enjoyable. I also like the fact that you can connectt Google Travel to your lisitngs effortless. Payment systems and guest portal all looks very professional. Overal a great software.
    Cons:
    The onboarding process could definitely be faster. From the moment you express interest in the software to actually gaining access, the wait is quite long. Unlike many other platforms that provide instant access, Hostaway requires you to move through several stages: an initial call with a sales representative, signing the paperwork, and then scheduling onboarding sessions. Because each step involves booking time with different teams, the full process took about two weeks. The VRBO integration also took far too long. Connecting my listings to Booking.com, Airbnb, and Google Travel was nearly instant, but VRBO requires Hostaway to handle the mapping internally. I was told the mapping was completed, only to later find out from VRBO that it wasn’t. This led to nearly four weeks of back‑and‑forth communication. A better solution would be to allow customers to perform the VRBO mapping themselves instead of relying on Hostaway to do it. Another drawback is the email design tools. They are very basic at the moment, especially compared to competitors who offer much more advanced and flexible templates. I do hope Hostaway improves this feature in the future.

    Guesty only works if you have an airbnb account first. And RentalWise had several critical bugs with the payment collection.

    The interface could use a little refreshing, it's clunky at times. But generally very comprehensive and impressive as an umbrella, all-inclusive service.

    The customer service ([sensitive content hidden]) is the best! Always patient and educational. The issue I was having wasn't even a Hostaway problem, it was a browser issue - nevertheless he was very patient in trouble shooting what I thought was a complete disaster. But he saved the day, like steering a ship out of a storm into a safe harbor. Making it all right again. Whew!
    Cons:
    Though the customer service reps are excellent, it might be an idea to hire more - so that the wait times aren't as lengthy. Having said that, if you can invest the time, I've never had an issue that the reps couldn't handle. (Just need more of them!)

    Amazing. I sincerely like the booking management and the support provided by your team. [sensitive content hidden] was the tech I spoke to today and he was incredibly fast and knowledgeable.

    I love working with Hostaway and their team. The simplicity of the platform, the value and the user interface made this my choice after reviewing several competitors. The integrations with other booking platforms makes this a "no brainer" for me. The absolute plus is being able to call their support line with a question. I always get a person who is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Any suggestions are taken and implemented. I just got off a call with [sensitive content hidden] who successfully walked me though about 5 different things on the site which will allow me to generate more income!
    Cons:
    I really like everything about Hostaway. We asked if there was a way to sort the properties by name, and BOOM, it was done. This is amazing

    Excellent, attentive, hands on, great on boarding setup and more!

    My experience with Hostaway was an excellent experience. I started at another platform that was a horrible experience. I was so overwhelmed and thought maybe I should not be doing short term rentals. Hostaway saved me from a lot of stress!!! I highly recommend this company and I look forward to purchasing another short term rental. I am confident that Hostaway will help me every step of the way.

    Hostaway was my savior. I am new to the short term rental platforms and needed guidance. I started with another platform and it was a nightmare. I was beside myself and was not prepared for my new bookings. Hostaway set me up with several onboarding calls and made sure everything was ready to go from taxes and financials, to automated messages and more.
    Cons:
    I don't have any cons. [sensitive content hidden] was polite, patient and helpful for all of my onboard meetings. He answered all of my questions and guided me every step of the way.

    No support available besides AI. I made an appt several days out to speak to a rep and the appt was moved last minute to an hour early and I was in the middle of eating dinner.

    Hostaway customer service is the main reason I use this PMS software. Their customer service agents are all very knowledgable about the software, excellent communicators, and very professional.
    Cons:
    Some integration issues still exist, but workarounds are typically provided. VRBO payment setup is not awesome and the House rules connectivity issue is an unfortunate issue to look into. International charges for subscriptions should also be communicated up front with customers.

    Overall, the experience has been amazing from day one when I was contacted by an outreach person via phonemail (I forget her name, but she's out of Boston, USA). Then, working with [sensitive content hidden], from sales, was a breeze, and in just two meetings, I signed-up and met with [sensitive content hidden], from onboarding, who has been absolutely amazing.

    Hostaway is able to process our payments and damage deposits in a manner that Little Hotelier was unable to do. This is super important and the key reason for the change. This and Little Hotelier was unable to sync with Vrbo.
