A great option for our holiday rental business, even if expensive.

Overall, we love Uplisting. We moved over from another platform which was extremely limiting - no one has it perfect, but for where we're at right now with our business this suits us well.

We use this software to run our new holiday rental business - it mostly makes things very streamlined, although was a steep learning curve and not a perfect platform.
Cons:
The extra subscriptions for things like security make it a very expensive platform but its the best of a tricky bunch.

As a rental property owner with multiple properties across several booking platforms, I love that all of our bookings, messages and automations are handled in one place. No more logging into several different platforms to manage everything. It has genuinely simplified the way we run our properties.
Cons:
The costs are on the higher side, but it solved limitations we found with other software and allowed us to run our business smoothly.

Massive value vs costs. I like the interface and the have security deposits, cleaning, smart locks, client statement etc are all integrated within Uplisting without having to connect 3rd party apps.
Cons:
Not being able to send invoices Limited functionality to setup custom notifications. No option to integrate multiple companies and billing methods

Customer service was not available during most of the day in the United States. Response to questions usually took 24-48 hours. Poor reporting features and overall ease of use. Limited features in app. Calendar started on Monday and not Sunday.

Good operation but CS lacks organization and unhelpful help articles

CS agents are friendly and helpful, but limited availability and seem to not have centralized ticket management. Help pages are inadequate for more in-depth use. Overall good operation.

Has most of the features I want for a low monthly subscription.
Cons:
Customer service and usability. The day-to-day usability is very good. But when you get into the details like setting up a direct booking site the help articles are helpful but always seem to be lacking some key info. For example if you want to change the URL of your booking site you can't get the TXT DNS file to verify the site automatically, nor can you add SSL automatically. You need to contact support for both of those. If you want to edit the site you'll need a link that you can only get from support even though it belongs on the direct booking site page. So then let's talk about support. Tech's are helpful and friendly but ONLY available through chat. That would be fine except if you open a few chats such as if you encounter different issues at different points while you are onboarding, and the agent doesn't close it you might not be able to chat again. So you'll go to email and respond to an email of the chat. That's great, except when that agent is not working. Then your request sits on their desk for hours or days. AND to make it worse, they have no after-hours agents so if you are working on your website at 8pm EST on Tuesday and you just need that TXT file....sorry, you're out of luck until AT LEAST the next day. OK so you're more patient than I am and you wait until the next day. Only to find that your request is not answered because that agent is off-duty on Wednesday. But you couldn't have known that. BS. TLDR is you HAVE to work with the support agents to do anything of any consequence besides basic booking management BUT they aren't available all day AND your request can EASILY go unanswered because they don't properly centralize their tickets. It has serious potential but the CS aspect is a real deal-breaker. I'm only sticking around because it seems to work well in general and switching would be cumbersome. But I'm looking....

The things I like most with uplisting is the platform is user friendly. Set up is easy though it is not that intuitive, it will be hard for people that are not computer savvy. It felt that the datas are secure safely and the guests personal information are handled securely during checkout payment of their reservations. The value is good for paying monthly subscription for 5 properties.
Cons:
Payment processing can do better specially the verifying of identity, this should come default and not extra feature that you need to pay. There is no phone support at all, you will be lucky if you will get a prompt reply when you use the email or chat feature. That is really a downer for me is the customer service can do a lot more better. There are frequent outages that they won't even be bothered to update you through email about it.
