Pros:

I would say customization and Automation of several tasks I used to do manually.

Cons:

Support is not as good as it used to be and it seems we are now getting charged for things that used to be free.

Intuitive and easy to manage

I've been using the program since we introduced it in 2016 at our company. The amount of improvements and advancements to keep up with our company demands have always been met in a timely manner.

Pros:

Very easy to navigate and intuitive platform. Updates and communication are always clear and timely. Managing employee information and payroll is much quicker and easier with this application system. Now moving over to the cloud with access was a great improvement. I recommend!

Cons:

I don't have any issues that I need to comment on.

Overall I find the software complicated and slow. I think that it still has a long way until it is user friendly for hr employees who use the platform.

Pros:

This software has a lot of reporting capabilities and the onboarding set up and process is fairly simple and effective.

Cons:

I often find the platform to be overly complicated, especially with regards to the access levels and role assignments. In the report designer feature and other capabilities within the platform there is often overly complicated coding needed which is something that as an HR employee I don't have much knowledge on.

Pros:

I can still remember my first year end back in 2007 with Avanti. It was so quick and smooth! I was amazed! The support team is incredible. Reply is quick and always so very helpful. Running a payroll is so quick!

Cons:

Securities is somewhat complicated in that there are so many steps. Understanding set up is confusing

The software was so slow. It took 4 to 5 hours to run a payroll. If you made a change, you had to rerun of course so payroll had to be started several days before deposits. There was no option for excel export. Everything had to be printed

experience has been good but I find the new technical support challenging. It was much more efficient when I could call the help line and get help on the spot.

It was Canadian, it was possible to roll our current information into the system.

Cons:

expensive to get started. It was alot of work but worth it in the end

Loving learning Avanti

I must rave about the help desk people who are fast and courteous and go out of their way to help and guide me. And the on-line help modules that walk you step by step and are easy to search.

The ease of use and the way the modules interface. I feel it is user friendly and can't wait to explore more modules as we grow with Avanti.

Cons:

That i have yet to experience the full capacity - still new at it. I have only been using Avanti for 1.5 years and we are just about to transition to more paperless features. Excited to learn more.

I have been using Avanti over 10 years. Avanti client care help me to fix all issues. They are my friends and partners. Avanti system is like my friend that I know her. Avanti is like my home that I can decorate.

Pros:

I like Avanti as it makes me feel like it my payroll software. I can set up stat holiday rules, OT rules, premium rules and other rules. I can build my own reports and I love the pre-built reports also. Avanti provides real time data like entitlements, maintain time data, I can validate my entries right after. Avanti is like my friend that I know her. it's like my home that I can decorate.

Cons:

The pre-built net pay comparison report can't tell why the employees don't get pay as lack of job status. The report designer can't compare 2 pay periods net pay in 2 columns.
