Pros:

It's really handy to get my assignments right on my phone. Requesting replacements on the fly is also fast and efficient as my managers get my requests in the minute and the software automatically finds someone to take over. Plus everything else we manage like vacation requests.

Cons:

We used to have to go on the web version to enter our timesheets. They did however add the feature on mobile in the past months which is a big relief. Not much negative stuff to say here.

Best Scheduling Tool

This was my first time using Evolia, and I found it to be very user-friendly. The learning curve is minimal, and most features are intuitive. It has been helpful for scheduling, team management, and staying organized across departments.

Evolia is very easy to use and has a clean, intuitive layout. The project management and scheduling tools make it simple to organize tasks, assign shifts, and keep everyone aligned. It saves time and helps streamline daily operations.

Cons:

Some areas of the layout could be more simplified. A cleaner interface and fewer steps to access certain settings or reports would make the system even more efficient. Minor improvements to navigation would enhance the overall experience.

I like that you can Ctrl drag to copy a shift and the shift and schedule templates are super easy to use.

Cons:

I wish that there was a way to sort employees by seniority, maybe there is and I haven't figured it out yet?

voila evaluation

after using it for a couple years now it has its pros and cons like all technologies certin features for tracking staff are helpful but others cause more miscommunication between staff and managers especially when dealing with availability updates

Nice Change for our Timekeeping

We are still learning, but overall we like it much better than Timesheet Mobile, mostly based upon what I mentioned in what I like most about Evolia. Our employees have not started using it much yet and we have yet to run a payroll, so we'll probably have more feedback over the next few weeks.

Pros:

I like that we can adjust a recurring schedule by changing one, all or future dates. This is one of the few tools that I found that could do this and was the main reason we moved to Evolia. I also like that employees can request shift changes, add their availability, and make leave requests. We didn't have this functionality in our last application.

Cons:

The Amilia interface does not support recurring entries entered in Amilia, so I have to make my own and delete the duplicates. I also don't like that if I need to add two different positions to a shift then I have to copy one. It would be better if you could pick each position and number of people for a shift and then add the people for each position. Also, there is no way to link these together so the other people on those duplicate shifts can see who is working with them. In my case, I have many classes with a Lead Teacher and an Assistant Teacher. It's important that they know who is working with them, so the only want to make that work is to add both people in notes manually.

Reasons for choosing Evolia

Evolia did recurring entries the best and had an Amilia interface. We looked at many vendors who I can't remember and this was the best fit for us.

Reasons for switching to Evolia

Timesheet Mobile could not do recurring meetings well so we had many issues if we had to make changes or delete shifts in the series. Evolia does this very well, and adds other items that TSM did not have.

EVoila, the cost effective optiom

Overall I’d give EVoila a 4 out of 5. I feel it’s a good product with good support and very afford compared to its competitors. I feel they listen and are working to better their product every day and I hope they will be add a few more functions such as keyboard hot keys that can speed up the scheduling process.

Schedule visibility for staff, affordable, good customer service, easy implementation.

Cons:

Scheduling shifts with varied start times is cumbersome. Used other software that more keyboard hot keys which could make the work quicker.

Reasons for choosing Evolia

Affordability and the features offered such as the app fir staff and overall it is not difficult to use. It does get easier to use also as you learn more of the product.

Reasons for switching to Evolia

New to this center and they did not have any product yet but needed an affordable option. Others were at previous jobs so not a company switch really but new to me and my center as they had nothing before except excel and paper schedules.

Aesthetically pleasing, very user friendly, control punch times and OT warning, a great tool for posting and switching shifts, ability to track and rate associates, chat messaging features, it is the all-in-one program for the production side of a company........and PRICE is by far the best for all the amazing features.

Cons:

I really don't have anything I dislike.

Cons:

What I liked least about Evolia was that some features felt a bit less intuitive when I first started using the platform. A few settings were tucked away in menus that took me a moment to find, and onboarding required a bit of trial and error before everything clicked. I also noticed that certain customization options were more limited than I expected, which made it harder to tailor the experience exactly the way I wanted. Once I got used to it, these issues mattered less, but the initial learning curve was definitely the weakest point for me.

A Reliable and Efficient Scheduling Solution

My overall experience with Evolia has been very positive. It has made scheduling much easier, improved communication with staff, and reduced the amount of manual work I used to deal with. The fact that it's interactive with the staff. It highlights conflicts, warns you when coverage is missing, and even suggests replacements. The time-tracking means fewer disputes over: Hours worked, Overtime, Late arrivals

Cons:

While Evolia is very useful overall, there are a few areas that could be improved. The initial setup and configuration come with a bit of a learning curve, and some employees find the app confusing at first, which leads to reminders about updating availability or clocking in properly. Notifications can feel excessive until they are fine-tuned, and certain features such as reporting and schedule views offer less customization than expected. There are also occasional small bugs or delays in syncing changes. Finally, the platform still requires consistent participation from all staff and periodic manual verification from managers, so it isn’t completely hands-off.
