Pros:

The ability to find information quickly- there is a very intuitive guide to pull state and federal laws and download into a chart format for what is applicable to your organization.

Cons:

I have not come across anything in the system that I don't like. It is very thorough.

This is a great value for the money. It is very easy to use, and I find the information being provided is easy to understand and very helpful

Cons:

I do not have any concerns with the system or how it functions. I would highly recommend to other HR professionals.

Helps keeps us in compliance

As stated above, we are a multi-state employer and we implemented HR Hero to help us keep up with the myriad of laws and regulations governing our workplaces.

Pros:

I really like the state by state chart builder feature. As a multi-state employer this allows me to keep up with changing laws in the various states and ensure we are compliant. The webinars and training are invaluable to me and my team. Their up to date content on COVID-19 has helped us navigate the pandemic in this unprecedented time, too.

Cons:

Policy templates and documents would be a helpful addition to the handbook builder, but overall we can generally find the information and news we need to provide guidance to our leaders and our HR team.

Excellent job staying ahead of the ever changing local, state & federal legal landscape. Allows us to share the information with our leaders and have a plan for implementation.

Cons:

I'm sure there is more I could take advantage of - very comprehensive product. I wish when you clicked on links, they all went directly to the documents.

So Far, So HEROic!

So far, HR Hero has been a game-changer. Having compliance tools and timely updates right at our fingertips makes staying current effortless. It’s reliable and saves us valuable time. One standout feature is the ability to access handbooks tailored to each of the 22 states we operate in remotely—an absolute lifesaver. Looking forward to exploring more of what it offers!

Love the Handbook Builder. Also love the timely compliance updates. The recent enhancement has made a noticeable difference—finding topics is now much more intuitive and efficient compared to before.

Cons:

No complaints at all—the new enhancements have truly improved the experience. What used to be a bit cumbersome is now streamlined and intuitive, making it much easier to find the topics I need.

Ease of use and interface, easily accessible and easy to use overall - really enjoy the UX and overall flow of the system.

Cons:

Could have more policies, instead of guidance documents. Wish those could be tailored to your industry/company.

Pros:

HR Hero is like having an HR compliance guru in your pocket. It is a valuable resource, with comprehensive templates, articles and sample policies, all of which are customizable. The Handbook builder is intuitive and easy to use. We also subscribe to their Employment Law Letter for our state, and it is invaluable and a great tool to use to train supervisors!

Cons:

I cannot think of anything! It is easy to use and has the information we need. I just love that it alerts us when a law has changed and our policy might need updating.

Job Description Assistance

We just started with HR Hero, so this was my first experience. Although it wasn't the greatest and was a little quirky, it still provided me with the outcome I was looking for so I'd use it again in the future for a similar need.

We were able to locate a job description that provided an excellent starting point for creating our own. There were a couple options that we were able to reference in order to compare which one would be most relevant to our search.

Cons:

In order to do a search, you have to first create a search option, before you can actually perform your search. And although there were a couple options to choose from, there were not many in our search results. The job we were searching for was not out of the ordinary either, so I would have expected to find more results. And when we found one that was suitable, it was a little quirky in order to figure out how to download it.
