dbForge Studio for Oracle in my case

For frequent activities, we use a number of our own specialized tools based on dotConnect for Oracle and dbForge for less frequent activities, for which it was not worthwhile to develop these tools.

Pros:

An absolutely key feature is connection in Direct mode. I hate Oracle drivers.

Cons:

Sometimes I spend a lot of time looking for a function that I rarely use, e.g. switching to editing mode in the data table.

I was already using dotConnect for Oracle and we are happy with it, this was the logical way to go.

There is no version for Mac without a virtualization layer, it should be native.

Pros:

I'm delighted with this tool as it makes it easier to create, manage and visualize Oracle databases. In addition, it provides us with autocompletion functions for SQL queries and PLSQL scripts, which saves me a lot of coding time.

Cons:

Although the features of this tool are impressive, it is not adaptable to all versions of oracle db.

Pros:

Great set of feature and a good and intuitive user interface

Cons:

Data comparison should be implemented in a way that makes it more easy to just select two different tables or views to compare (in either same or different schema) instead of always assuming that I want to compare two whole schemas.
