Finale Inventory allows users to manage orders from e-commerce channels by offering integrations with marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Etsy and eBay) as well as shopping carts (Shopify, BigCommerce and Magento, among others). The product's integration with shipping services such as ShipStation and ShippingEasy mean getting orders in and out is a breeze.

Financially, Finale offers a robust integration with QuickBooks Online that allows everything from bills to invoices to get automatically synced to your QuickBooks Online account, including managing your inventory valuation and cost of goods sold.

Excellent & highly intuitive software. 10/10 value for money.

Excellent, helped our company scale no doubt. It has some very strong integrations & reporting I really like and wouldnt have been able to accomplish what I wanted without them.

Finale Inventory ROCKS!

I look at stock levels on a daily basis, and easily create Purchase Orders from the same software. Inventory levels are adjusted as soon as product is received, and as soon as it's picked for an order. I can see what's on hand, what's on order, and even how many days' worth of product I have. Stock levels take BOMs into account. That's huge. Product Lookups are simple to create and link. There's also the ability to create Custom Fields. Finale barcoding makes life in a warehouse much easier.

Pros:

Reporting is where Finale Inventory shines. More integrations than I would ever need, with the ability to add a new one. Very easy to use, with clearly labeled & well-organized menu items. Getting started, I had questions. My questions were answered really quickly by the [sensitive content hidden] of the company. My phone calls are answered. Easy to implement, with guidance apparently for as long as needed.

Cons:

A difficult question is what I dislike about Finale Inventory. There are features that I don't use, but there are no features that I do use that I have any qualms about.

At the time we decided that Finale Inventory would meet all of our needs, and it seemed future-proof, giving us the ability to continue our upward trajectory.

It hooks up to lightspeed retail POS which was the only other alternative than Hyperspace which cost wise was too much.

Cons:

Would like it to look more "app" like. Would like to be able to open several product cards to change fields in one screen.

The suite of tools in Finale Inventory solve problems! The warehousing functions and flexible and easy to use. The purchasing functions integrate perfectly. The receiving functions are excellent. The reporting is awesome.

Cons:

There are so few issues to report ... it's true that they're always adding new features and sometimes there is a period of time when new feature are getting ironed-out. But overall the performance from the software is amazing.

Great for Any Situation

My business is unique and needed a lot of extra care, but we eventually were able to go live with a great system that will be usable by production staff and greatly improve the process of inventory transfers.

Pros:

Finale really helps you customize their program to your needs and walks you through every step of the way. They support a lot of integrations and have a really intuitive interface. They're a stable, great choice for managing inventory, especially if you're using Lightspeed X or BigCommerce.

Cons:

A lot of the documentation is older and needs to be updated, and a lot of terms are a little confusing for someone without inventory platform experience.

Pros:

Finale is a reasonably-priced inventory tracking software. It has many features that we need. With kitting capabilities, robust reporting features, an easy-to-read interface, high-speed processing times, Finale is exactly what we were looking for. The integration process with Shopify and Quickbooks is amazing as well. The onboarding process was a breeze with the copy/paste feature available with Finale. I was able to move all of the item, sale, and customer data from our old system to Finale in 2 days. The best feature of Finale, however, is the staff. I have been very happy with the software, but it's the Finale staff that makes this a 5-star investment.

Cons:

The only thing that I might change a bit is that the shipping and receiving tables might be a little bit easier to read. Other than that, I have not found any cons.

Finale has improved everything in our company

Finale was introduced to our company after a long, tedious process of finding and then trying to implement another IMS (Fishbowl). I was skeptical of the great reviews and claims from other users since I had really been put through the wringer by another company during implementation. After going through a demo and poking around a bit, I was sold. Importing all of the data was a breeze, the user interface is intuitive and for me, the best part is that if I did hit a snag, I could be on a screen share with a Finale rep in no time and they would patiently walk me through it. I'm not exaggerating when I say Finale made everything better. It has transformed the way we do business by allowing us to manage our inventory accurately across multiple sales channels and provide a better experience for our customers.

Pros:

Finale implementation is quick and pretty simple. We use it with ShipStation and the learning curve was practically non-existent because it's so intuitive. Importing data is just a matter of copying and pasting a spreadsheet into their import tool. This makes adding and updating products/customers/vendors/etc. a breeze. I also generate invoices from Finale. We have pretty long production lead times on the majority of our products so predicting stock outs is very important to us and we can trust Finale to calculate that information correctly. The basic reporting is good but the ability to customize existing reports or create your own is excellent. Most importantly, their level of customer service is absolutely top notch.

Cons:

We did have some hiccups with marketplace integrations but we able to work with Finale to create workarounds that have been fine.

Reasons for switching to Finale Inventory

Fishbowl really provided no implementation support themselves. Once we signed the contract, it was crickets from them. We had to hire a consultant and frankly, she was a nightmare to deal with. We had so much trouble importing our data that we had zero confidence that the actual product would work.

Better managed inventory

Pros:

It helps me to have all the information about the inventory merchandise clear, detailing day by day what goes out and what enters the system. It reduced common errors that I had and improved the precision of the supply process.

Cons:

I don't dislike it at all, I would only improve the prices of the plans because they are expensive, that is the only thing that I feel needs to be improved
