Pros:

Very user friendly software. Courses were easy to navigate and contained useful information. The practice exam really prepared me for the ASCP exam. The questions trained me how to read and answer the actual questions on the exam.

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like about the software was that once I had completed a class it reverted to "take course" on the available courses page and not "completed" or the like. It made it more difficult to quickly look for new courses to take.

Pros:

MediaLab has helped me prepare for boards when I was a student and has been a great way for me to stay updated with my learning in a professional setting.

Cons:

The only con I would say is it would be nice if there was a longer explanation for answers perhaps in a video or different format to mix things up. Also many questions are often recycled.

Pros:

I love that the answers to questions are explained in depth and that it had questions that covered different areas of study such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, etc. I also enjoyed the ability to select different types of mock quizzes, test, game mode was my favorite and that I could select the number of questions I wanted to answer.

Cons:

The size of the font, I would recommend increasing it. I also thought the size and quality of the images was poor. It was difficult to identify cell morphologies and biochemical reactions for some of the images.

Very efficient !

A good retrievable record that the continuing education requirements are either being met or not. The system shows which users are behind on their assignments.

It is user-friendly and logical. The transcript for each employee is easy to retrieve and review. The ability to notify users of their assignments via e-mail is very efficient.

Cons:

Some topic labels are not obvious at first glance. Making assignments is somewhat confusing at first, but after a few times it becomes easy.

Pros:

The flexibilty of the modules. If I needed to stop and come back I was able to start where I left off.

Cons:

When searching for new modules in the catalog, it would have been helpful if ones that have been completed satisfactorily would appear as complete. Several times I chose a course I had completed early on.

It is easy to use not complicated. The articles are interesting and i get to learn something new everyday.

Cons:

I do not like that it takes a while for it to update what course I have completed and that it does not categorize them in the appropriate sections.

It was good

It is great to have so we can run the test in house and not have to send them out. It's better for everyone. The results are always accurate and the patient can be treated that day instead of having to wait due to test being sent out

Love the idea and features, but ease of use is poor. Really hard to figure out.

Easier to obtain CEU's, and perform CAP self-inspection.

Pros:

Love the document control and inspection proof. CAP self-inspection that we just had was very easy.

Cons:

Hard to learn how to do things. Very difficult to set up users with the appropriate permissions the first time. Have to continually go back and edit the permissions. Difficult to understand the document control verification process. You write a procedure, then have to collaborate on it, then verify it and then as a performing employee re-read it again.
