Limited options to select slot of planes and rooms (es. briefings); some bug fixes; documents area not really implemented.

Pros:

It answer most of our needs and is quite user friendly to use.

Cons:

A few surprise in some formats - dates in dd.mm.yyyy as opposed to the more common dd/mm/yyyy - some information extracts are not possible to have and make some analysis impossible or very difficult - the csv formating of extracts is suprising and makes integrating into excel difficult. - user administration not a s easy as it could be. Overlooking closed accounts hard to follow.

Reasons for switching to FlightLogger

The product was Safetyplane but not in your list and couldn't select Other Develeppor stopped the product. It was a necessity to change.

Great Scheduling Product - Not ideal for maintenance

Pros:

The scheduling of flights is very easy. The functions are easy to control and i gives you a great overview over all the flights. Furthermore, the flight debriefs are easy and structured.

Cons:

Sadly, flightlogger collects more data than you can see in reports. It would be great if all entered information can be reviews (safety report). Furthermore, the Maintenace tracking is OK. Once a maintenance is due to you can sign it in but you can't make a repetitive interval so it pops ups again in another 100 hours or so.

Concerning the data that we collect we aim to make everything available through our many various reports, and not least through our API, where you should be able to get more or less anything you need. Maintenance requirements can be set up to be repetitive to support for example 100 hour intervals. Great Software, somewhat pricey

Pros:

By far the best thing about flight logger is the great customer service team and the excellent easy to use software. We looked at many similar options before deciding to go with flight logger and flight logger really was the best option. From the program administration, scheduling, internal messaging, certificate tracking and overall ease of use of the software it made choosing flight logger easy. After using the software for over a year we’ve been able to offer a few suggestions to the flight logger team on how to improve their product to meet some of our more specific needs and needs of clients in our country and the flight logger team has done been excellent and developing and implementing these suggestions free of charge. The customer service is the best I’ve ever experienced and would happily recommend flight logged to anyone looking at using the software.

Cons:

The price stands out at being more costly than other platforms and is variable based on active students. There isn’t much functionality when it comes to dealing with inactive students which is to be expected. Some improvements could be made in the “ground theory” and “messaging centre” to make it easier to use but these are minor suggestions and not critical to the operation of the software. Overall price aside this is a great product.

Reasons for choosing FlightLogger

The customer service, ease of use, ability of the software to do so many different things, willingness to work with Canadian clients to meet their business needs, etc.

Reasons for switching to FlightLogger

The other software was limited and outdated. Not much for technical support.

Best planning and training software on the market

Knowledgeable and friendly staff at FL who know what they are talking about. Give excellent guidance, have a no-nonsense attitude (one of the reasons why the Danish and Dutch go pretty well together). Implementation went quickly. Very good instruction material. The best thing is that you hardly need this because sofware is intuitive. Last but not least FL has a "support" mailaddress which does an amazing job, reverting typically in a day. That's not a given these days.

Great interface and easy to use. Both for students, flightinstructors and adminstration.

Cons:

Relatively expensive for the modest size of our flightschool. But flightlogger is simply the best tool we have come across.

A good management software with all the features you need

Overall, Flight logger has all the features a flight school needs. You can see departure and arrival activities, student evaluations, availability (both students and staff), alerts, student and instructor logbooks... Everything you need is at your fingertips.

Pros:

The organization of the activities and the fact that, in case of problems or suggestions, the customer service is always available and attentive.

Cons:

I honestly don't know what to answer. Regarding my use of it, I haven't found any negative sides.

Great Tool for Flight Schools

Very satisfied especially in the managment and building of training program. this works evry efficient and the training can be conducted on that basis and the training report is generated automatically.

Certificate Management and Scheduling. Also the building of training programs works nicely and is a great help.

Cons:

I wish more Flight OPS related solutions. It would be helpful to have Flight numbers in the scheduling available.

Easy to use

After a couple of days training, it really is easy to use. The reporting functions are still a work in progress for me.

Ease of use. After using it a few times, it's not as daunting as first thought. Adding a new profile proved to be a challenge.

Cons:

When pulling a raw flight data report, having to scroll through the months individually to go back a couple of years. Not being able to extract additional hours over syllabus hours for students.

Super customer service, very reactive and incorporating suggestions really quickly if asked for. Very well designed program that is super thought trough and reliable. Couldn't ask for more really.

Cons:

Because of the wast amount of clients, sometimes the system comes to its limit regarding personalization.

General overview

It is easy to work with it, I have a great amount of information of the student. It is easy to follow the students progress.

Easy to work with, you have a lot information about the students status, it is easy to follow up each session.

Cons:

It takes me a long time to do the documentation of a flight. Especially to fill in the flight datas takes a long time.
