A great way to add interactions and participation to your videos

Pros:

Being a company dedicated to eLearning, we met Hihaho by chance, looking for a way to make our educational videos more interactive. Although we only tried the free version, we were able to create videos that met all our expectations. They offer a great variety of interactions that you can also adjust and adapt to your project. And then they allow you to review and analyze the statistics and numbers that you gathered with all the interactions in order to make the right decisions. And all in a very simple way!

Cons:

There is not much to say here. At the time we used it, it was not possible to upload videos directly, just add them through a URL.

Great company and product

The contact to technical and sales staff is amazing. Even though other competitors may offer a better UX and a larger feature set in some cases, we love customer centricity and constant improvements as well as the focus on education of HiHaHo.

Pros:

We use a narrow feature set of what is possible with HiHaHo. However, the customer service and customer centricity is outstanding in my opinion. The have build a custom feature in just two weeks for us and are constantly seeking to get better as a company and to improve the product experience for all their customers. We always get an very helpful answer in a matter of hours or sometimes minutes if we need technical implementation support.

Cons:

The editor/studio to edit the interactions could need some UX-improvements and the folder/usermanagement as well. However, what really matters to us is the experience for our viewers of the videos and it is good already. Furthermore, seeing HiHaHo constantly improving and evolving their product and studio gives great comfort for future collaborations.

Good but not great

I feel like this platform would be great for users who want a super easy, straightforward program to add some fun simple elements to their YouTube or Vimeo videos. Anything more than that, I’d go with Mindstamp.

I like the ease of the editor. It was fairly simple to plug and play having no experience with interactive video platforms before. I like their video tutorials- great explanations of functionality.

Cons:

I didn’t like that I could only use videos from another host. I really wanted to use my own mp4 files plus the functions were a little clunky and not very customizable.

A great interactive platform

I couldn't be happier with Hihaho and our clients feel the same way. We're getting great feedback from the interactive videos we've created and I would thoroughly recommend anyone interested to just create a video and give it a go. You'll be really impressed, I'm sure.

Hihaho has been a great tool for us in creating interactive videos for our clients. It feels we're limited only by our imagination and there are great features such as being able to swap URLs (really useful when you need to make a new video or amendment). The editing platform is really easy to use and adding interactions is incredibly simple.

Cons:

There's no features I can think that haven't been implemented. Whenever I've contacted Hihaho about a missing feature they've either pointed out it's already there, or have added it.

Using HiHaHo to create education videos

Compared to other software, this is definitely easy to use. What I would like to add is Q & A options during the video delivery. I don't know how you are going to manage that. Someone needs to record the solutions and provide feedbacks on the answers.

Pros:

It is relatively easy to use. No computer background necessary. There are a lot of free images and free music so you don't need to search. Also you can create action from stationary objects, which is great. Very simple to use.

Cons:

I keep running out of time from the slide. And creating a duplicate slide just to carry on the audio is a nuisance.

Easy to use tool to enhance video with interativity

Pros:

The software has a wide variety of interactions. There are several video integrations available, like YouTube and Vimeo. And the software has well great integrations for elearning purposes, like xAPI en SCORM.

Cons:

It's not yet possible to upload videos. It's possible to add interactivity to one video. HiHaHo does not provide branching in which you can use more than one video to build a interactive video story.

What i like the most is the friendly and easy set up to bring you video to another level.

Cons:

I think there's always room for improvement, like more features to make the video even more interesting, an example could be "Voice command" (futuristic but can be done :)

It is so easy to use and really helps get the attention in class. It increases the overall engagement, depending on how you use it of course. But if you make the interactive part funny, students love to participate.

Cons:

The overall layout of the interface could be better, but it is still clean and easy to use. Also, I think the functionality of social sharing could be easier.
