About SkyPrep

SkyPrep LMS is a cloud-based learning management solution that offers a platform to training administrators for creating, managing and selling training courses. Key features include custom branding, automated learner enrollment and blended learning.

SkyPrep’s course authoring functionality allows users to upload their PowerPoints, videos, SCORM content and other types of media to create custom training courses, which can be self-paced, instructor-led or done through a virtual classroom. The courses can be branded and customized with an organization’s own website, logo and color theme.

Users can add learners individually or in bulk and can be grouped in multiple ways as required to be enrolled in courses. Custom quizzes and tests, along with real-time reporting, ensure that the training progress is tracked and measured.

SkyPrep has an e-commerce functionality that allows users to sell courses to customers and resellers. The mobile learning capabilities allow trainees access to courses on the move via tablet or a smartphone.

Pros:

This system is very easy to implement and maintain as an admin. Furthermore, it is very user friendly from an admin and user perspective. Their customer service is amazing too as they have a monthly check in where they give you information on updates and are there to answer any questions - at no extra cost.

Cons:

The only cons I have had, I have asked my contact there about it and they were quick to fix it or create a solution.

SkyPrep offered us almost everything that we wanted. The only thing it didn't was gamification, which they most recently added!

SkyPrep is a great investment

SkyPrep has been a reliable, easy-to-navigate, and budget-friendly platform. The sales staff worked with me on flexibility in pricing and I receive one-on-one support with bimonthly meetings from my dedicated support person.

SkyPrep is an easy-to-use, affordable platform that continues to evolve by listening to customer feedback and making enhancements to address that feedback. The support staff is friendly, conscientious, and responds in a timely manner.

Cons:

I would appreciate more flexibility in design, but I have no doubt that SkyPrep will continue to grow in that area.

Reliable and easy to use...it's an essential tool for STARLINK's delivery to its members.

Cons:

STARLINK and its member institutions utilize analytics - we'd love to see more robust analytics with SkyPrep.

Skyprep Review #1

Its a good easy experience. I liked that its a easy navigable program in which its easy to add user and assign courses. Its easy to get a report on a certain user or group. Its easy to add videos and trainings. The only bad thing is the way the report looks if it was simpler and more organized it be a better review. Some of the videos are seen but not given credit so i have to manually assign the credit. Its a little glitchy.

Pros:

It handles all the basics really well: video uploads, PDFs, quizzes, and course tracking. Setting up learning paths for things like instructor training, onboarding new team members, or accessing business resources is simple and efficient.

Cons:

If there's one thing we could improve it would be adjusting how the user limit works for adding additional users to a full group

We needed to work with a system that would continue to update without taking us out of serving our clients

Excellent LMS platform!

The support team has gone above and beyond every step of the way with us from implementation, changes in our org, need for retraining, and has given me lots of hand-holding when I need it. They are patient with my not so tech savvy self.

Pros:

Its very user friendly for the learners. Its easy to teach power users how to assign courses and manage enrollments. It integrates with shopify seamlessly.

Cons:

From an admin standpoint, I am not the most tech savvy person. I find the amount of options on the back end to be a lot - but I wouldn't say it's a problem. The support team always walks me through any struggles I have.

Mainly because the price was significantly less and they offered better support.

Reasons for switching to SkyPrep

Trakstar had lots of downtime and functional issues. It isn't work well with Samsung tablets.

The ease of creating courses. I found the settings within course creation helpful as well, and the ability to create assessments is key too.

Cons:

The messaging feature is troubling to me because I never know if the message went out. I also am not sure how best to set the automated reminders for the course.

SkyPrep Gets Two Thumbs Up

Our experience with SkyPrep has been top notch in all aspects: scheduling a demo was super easy, the subscription and onboarding process went quickly and smoothly, and the post-sale support we’ve received has been excellent. SkyPrep has really helped us step up our game! We can now support our clients, both internal and external, with a more robust platform and much better reporting. I would absolutely recommend SkyPrep without hesitation to any of my colleagues in the L&D sector.

The SkyPrep staff are super easy to deal with, and it's a great product with an easy UI. For the price, if offers great functionality. It's also super easy to configure.

Cons:

Nothing; our experience has been, and continues to be, very positive. I would advise others to strongly consider SkyPrep.

Pros:

I love the new features their team constantly adds, but even more so, their customer support. Or Skyprep team is very helpful, responsive, and dedicated to getting to the bottom of our questions.

Cons:

Our biggest issue is the platform load time. Sometimes, when users make an update, we are called because there's an issue; however, it's just that the system hasn't loaded yet. Sometimes it takes more than a day to update and show any changes officially.
