About ECP

ECP is a cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) solution that assists living and senior care communities of any size. It is suitable for multi-state providers and includes assessments, care charting, alerts, task lists, and reports. ECP is compatible with mobile devices.

The solution features electronic medical administration records (eMAR) capabilities that include alerts and reminders for staff regarding patient regimens. Administrators can receive notifications when inventory is low on specific medications and since ECP integrates with most major pharmacy software vendors, the reordering process is automated.

ECP can also be used for other care management tasks. It creates and stores patient health assessments, generates care plans, provides electronic charting and assists with state-mandated reports.

The solution also features facility management tools, which include modules for scheduling resident activities, customizing employee files, tracking meal delivery, keeping in touch with potential new residents, and more.

    I love that everything is in one place. My role in ECP as the BOM is easy and simple. It's easy to find information needed and to keep track of observation notes as well.
    Cons:
    Nothing, I think it's perfect for our facility. Never to many issues. The only time I got frustrated was when it went down for a day, but other than that its been geat.

    ECP is very user friendly. My teams rarely have issues with the system and when an issue does occur, the ECP customer service people are there to help. We use all aspects of the system, from eMAR to incident reporting. We have our own assessment tool in the system, as well as our own supporting assessments and evaluations. Overall, a great product.
    Cons:
    I’d like to see AI capability, i.e, predictive risk concerns with residents based on documentation and incident reporting.

    I do like how you can record multiple aspects of the everyday tasks that we are beholding to as staff.
    Cons:
    the one thing I do not like is that we are not able to print out a completely blank MAR, with no consumer information. and that you are unable to link a resident to the pharmacy unless it is done at time of adding "New Resident. and that you cannot reactive a resident on the same day they were discharged.

    i did like the password and login issues can be reset by facility admin, so there is virtually no wait, or company IT to get ahold of

    The ability to personalize tasks, meds, and aide duties per patient, and the abilities to assign each task daily, weekly, monthly, and different periodical time slots.
    Cons:
    system crashes and sign in issues, which can be daily, and sometimes multiple times daily. there can be issues that last days, and impede clients ability to use the service in total.

    ECP definitely recommended

    Overall I am very pleased with our selection of ECP. The setup process went very smoothly. We have very few minor issues, all of which were quickly resolved.

    The value for the money is fantastic. Customer support is top notch. The ability to access ECP from anywhere is a huge bonus for my facility.
    Cons:
    I wish the offline pharmacy integrated better, it seems to have been left behind. There are a lot of features in the pharmacy portion that I wish we could take advantage of. Unfortunately they do not work with our environment.

    Happy we switched to ECP!

    Very positive experience from the beginning. Great support. Does interface with our pharmacy which is why we switched in the first place.

    Overall a great EMR. Ease of uploading and the ability to keep everything in one place. The ECP support is very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend to any assisted living or SNF.
    Cons:
    Setting alerts for staff notifications seems to be more difficult than it should be and there is no way to alert us if someone doesn't have a BM for 48 hrs.

    Ease of use for my staff! The support staff are also very responsive. We have never had to wait more than a day or two for an answer.
    Cons:
    Our only involves not being able to save certain documents and go back to them later. We waste a lot of time reentering assessments.

    Very positive. Easy for med techs to learn. Easy to check for undocumented meds. This is one of the hardest things for me to control on a daily basis. The problem isn't the system, its the users.

    Other than regular daily use, I had to email support for a password issue and the support person [sensitive content hidden], responded very promptly with easy to understand instructions. She also followed up with an email to be sure everything worked out for me.
    Cons:
    I don't really have anything I don't like about it. The only thing that I didn't know that causes a minor issue is that the med list that prints with the face sheet does NOT include treatments.

    Customer support is outstanding. They’ve always been able to help with questions. Waze of access is also huge. It’s easy to teach staff how to use.
    Cons:
    I’ve run into issues with reports that I would like to create but don’t have the option to. I also just ran into an issue with care plan items and having to edit that.
