Cons:

Need some parameters like token limits for higher output.

A tool for AI

As I understand it not in itself an AI but an extremely useful piece of glue. I am exploring AI (like many others?) an early discovery was even if you pahy a monthly subscription most services want you to buy service credits to embed AI API's into Apps Having a flexible general-purpose tool using credits like Elephas, is more cost effective than multiple subs

Cons:

not sure yet - complex product with many features. Why don't you ask me again in 6 months.

Power of ChatGPT in your Mac OS applications

Elephas combines many of the options that I was looking to solve with different online tools, and now not only it's combined into one, but it's working 'standalone' and 'inline' in my Mac applications. This is awesome.

Pros:

Elephas enables you to use the power of OpenAI / ChatGPT in your regular workflows / applications on Mac OS. No need to copy paste, just work inline anywhere you need it. Add the SuperBrain option and you have a powerful self-trained AI brain at your fingertips.

Cons:

As with any startup or new SaaS product, you run into the occasional bug or UX/UI may be improved. It just needs time, and with every update it just gets better.

Reasons for choosing Elephas

Superbrain seems more powerful, and it's on/in my mac - not just online.

I Speaketh My Truth, or How I Learned to Embrace A New Tool

Very good to excellent. I hate using tools that seem to add friction to my day and Elephas merged smoothly with my lack of routine and often scattershot approach to bringing concepts together. Has enough structure to keep me from getting a junk drawer, but not so much that I can't just jump in and jot down ideas and findings quickly. I like it and will keep using it

Ease of use. I have tried several KMS apps, but I am keen on finding tools that adapt well to me rather than have me go through a learning curve. I also work across several fields (business, tech, non-profit development, start-ups, education, health, fiction writing, and a few more) and wanted a system that allowed me to quickly cross-connect without hiding things in folders and sub-folders festooned with tags. I'm not 100% up to speed on Elephas, it doesn't do everything I would want (its coffee-making skills are sorely lacking), but it has become a daily tool within a week of trying it. That's a win and I look forward to doing more with it

Cons:

It needs some templates for creative work, but I don't know if that's actually necessary or me trying to save time where it isn't possible. And maybe a little more "look-and-feel" customization, but that is far from a deal-breaker

If they take away Elephas from me I will lose my job

In general, I'm ElephasDicto, I simply use it for everything. In fact, I wish I had more time to study the documentation in depth - I feel that no matter how hard I try I'll never be able to use all the functions. I may not have Google, but I don't have Elephas.

Pros:

I am biased when it comes to talking about Elephas; I use it for absolutely everything. From rewriting a text for me to reminding me of facts I didn't even remember (with Brain). However, the platform won me over the day I simply asked if there was a way to change the app to Portuguese-BR in the keyboard settings on the iPhone, and the developer said he would look into it. Magically, days later, without any announcements, he added the feature. This kind of support is extremely rare to see (and I've seen it several times on Discord). In fact, I used Elephas to translate this, haha!

Cons:

1) I miss the possibility of setting a single model for all responses in the default settings section. In fact, I am available to help.

Top Product!

I use the Elephas app regularly in the medical field, mainly to work with PDFs of scientific articles. The app is reliable, stable, and supports me excellently in my daily work. I especially appreciate how efficiently it helps me search and process medical content.

Elephas, Is this AI tool really that good?

I must admit my overall experience with Elephas was great. The command to summon any LLM of my choice was a complete time saver.

Elephas is a great AI product; It provides a new way to interact with your notes, ideas and documents. Personally, my favorite feature of elephas was the quick summon for the LLM of my choice.

Cons:

Even though Elephas is a great overall product, the free trial ended before I could really get to enjoy the product. Due my lack of time with the product, I finally stopped using it.

Powerful and easy to use AI assistant

I still consider myself a new user, but I have already had significant success in using it to prepare for meetings and even during meetings to refine existing chats and get information quickly. The application lends itself to immediate productive use without having to refer to user guides or tutorials. I have been able to be very productive from my first use and look forward to improving my expertise and proficiency.

I like how easy it is to create specialized brains based on personal or professional files, documents, notes, and web pages in the application. I have personally created hundreds of reports over my career, and I can upload those and those of my colleagues to create a specialized brain. I also rely heavily on environmental codes and regulations, and now I can upload codes, ordinances, and regulations and get the specific answers I need with references to the relevant sections. This is a major time saver and game-changer for me.

Cons:

I have occasionally experienced large memory usage and have had to force quit and restart the app.

Pros:

The clean and simple UI. Easily customisable. Large amount of great features. Able to retain huge amounts of data. Regular emails with tips and support. Protection of privacy and syncs across different devices.

Cons:

A few minor bugs can cause it to become a bit unstable sometimes. However, the developers are very much on top of things and bugs are fixed with the frequent updates.
