Long term customer - awful customer service

We've been a long term customer of Lead Forensics, price hikes each year without improving the software has made it difficult to justify this software over alternative channels which have consistently provided better ROI. The reason for the 1 star, is partially the above, but primarily the awful customer service approach when it came to cancelling the contract. We were 1 day past the 30day auto renewal date, and they have forced us to pay in full for a service we won't be using. Very short sighted business approach, when there are so many alternatives out there. I would highly recommend considering alternatives.

As a valued, long-term customer, there were 10 touch points with your team prior to renewal and this included seven meeting invitations and three emails outlining the contract terms and notice period. Despite these efforts, we didn’t receive formal notice to cancel until after the required notice period had passed. Following our discussions, we offered a flexible solution to your contract, which was agreed and accepted. We always aim to be as transparent and supportive as possible. While we understand your frustration with the renewal, we made every effort to ensure your team was informed well in advance. If you'd like to continue the conversation, we’re more than happy to speak further.

I have enjoyed using Lead forensics and the options to see the history, the names of employees is a helpful tab. Its easy to use and to update. I think it would be beneficial for us if we could link it to the system we currently use but its no bother going onto the site and cross referencing it. Lead forensics has been a great tool for us to reach out to the facilities departments that need our services.

I have used Lead Forensics in so many ways to evaluate the progress of our SEO efforts, to my conference attendance and outreach. I feel there is still a lot I can use the tool for, especially now that I am starting to leverage different outreach campaigns to advertise our products etc. I haven't done much outreach on leads generated directly from Lead Forensics yet, but it has helped me to prioritise meetings at partnering conferences. I will be doing more going forward though.

It has been game changing for our startup. The Customer Success Managers at Lead Forensics are superb. They help us get the most from the tool and also make useful suggestions on how we can improve and get maximum return on our investment in the product.
