I have used Lead Scrape for many years and have always had great customer service. I find the new version to be faster, obtain more leads, and the email verification is great.

The new email verification is great. I use it for cold emails and my bounce rates are very low and my open rates continue to increase.
Cons:
The older version had a people search that used Linkedin and I found it to be very useful and was used a lot .

Required tool for effective prospection

I was probably one of the first users "back when". The product today is very mature, it has new features such as filters and APIs to link directly to other platforms, and so far it has never let me down: the information it produces is useful, well categorised, and provides the basis for more traditional research.

Very fast, it works every time, produces high-quality results, and is platform-agnostic (almost), as it works on both my Mac and PC.
Cons:
Nothing really. I had some User Interface comments in previous versions, but the developers (Reganam Ltd) are very tuned in to constructive feedback, and the latest version 4.12 (June 2025) is very slick.

Reasons for switching to Lead Scrape

Cost, primarily. Also, Apollo is a much larger platform that is good if you want to use the CRM features.

Such Incredible Potential

I wouldn't recommend this app to my worst enemy unless I was trying to waste his time. It has a ton of potential but is so inconsistent. The really annoying part is if you setup a scrape that lasts an entire day and it crashes you lose everything. I suggested a log that populates after each scraped city so you don't lose all of your work. This would be incredibly easy to achieve but the support said the dev was unwilling to help. Insane.

What I liked about this software was the first week I used it. It was pretty fast and pulled the info I needed. It's advertised as being able to scrape 100 cities at a time and the CSVs that it spits out are clean.
Cons:
It just doesn't work as advertised. You can't scrape 100 cities at a time. That lasted all of a week. Then the app started crashing after 45 cities. Then 25, then 10, then 5. Eventually, it became unusable. I talked to support and they had a dev look at the issue. The software worked better on a BETA they released but slowly got worse again. I tried to work with the developer to figure out the issues but he kept telling me I'm the only one having the problem and his dev refused to look into it anymore even though I was willing to experiment and pass along logs. These guys have ZERO INTEREST in improving their app. I even said if they gave me another code instead of a refund (because at the time I was getting 45 cities scraped) I would consider that an acceptable compromise. The support then became rude. App devs ... if you have a customer willing to work with you to fix your bugs, do it! We have several apps and these types of customers are unicorns. Take advantage.

Automated Generation via Lead Scraping

Lead Scrape is effective in the sense that it saves time by providing automation as a service, as opposed to cold calls or manually looking up business contacts, hence freeing up more time to contact leads, conduct quality assurance, tracking, follow-ups and analysis.

Ease of use and robustness in lead scraping, as it is an on-premise software. Highly accurate results generated with data in the form of prospects' contact information. No need for integration with other tools - Lead Scrape can be used as a stand-alone product.
Cons:
Duplicates of contacts within the same business can sometimes be automatically generated. In cases where more than one email address for a given lead is found, the email addresses are separated by commas on the same line.

Reliable lead scraping with serious data and zero fluff

Overall, it’s been a reliable tool that’s helped me build large lead lists without spending hours doing manual work or relying on multiple tools. I started with the standard version, and it handled most of what I needed. Later on, I upgraded to the business plan and was able to scrape entire states in one go, which made scaling much easier. I've been using it for many years and highly recommend.

Pros:
Lead Scrape pulls solid, usable contact data without making the process complicated. I like that I can get business names, emails, phones, and even social media details with just a few clicks. No limits on searches or results is a huge plus, and it works across a wide range of countries and business types. The built-in email verification is also super helpful.
Cons:
There’s no progress bar or time estimate when scraping, so you’re kind of guessing how long it’ll take. It also constantly reminds you about the business plan upgrade, even if you're getting what you need already. Would be nice if it felt a bit less pushy on that but it's a minor issue.

Fast becoming the best lead scraping tool out there

Support has always been quick to respond. Your find that a business licence covers two devices which helps covering more ground if you are searching for a bulk of leads. Overwise, this is by far my choice for value and quality of leads.

Value for money! For the yearly cost, the sheer amount of data is the best out there compared to other services. They are constantly updating the software, and recently added a very powerful integration for GHL
Cons:
I'm yet to find one. With each update, the software is getting better. You may need to add an exception to your virus protection on installation as some pick this up falsely.

Easiest Way To Scrape Data (Zero Tech!)

Overall, Leadscrape is a very easy tool to use for scraping business data. I don't personally scrape a lot of data, but this is very helpful for anyone building a directory.

Leadscrape works natively on Mac. It has a good UI, and is easy to use. I find it very reliable for data scraping.
Cons:
I wish there was a direct-to-Google-Sheets integration. I don't use csv files, so that would speed up my workflow.
