Pros:

Well what I like the most is Email templates are nice and customizable and the ability to do sms messaging is helpful.

Cons:

I don’t have any new dislikes at the moment. My only issue is having to still pay for sms even if you already pay for a subscription.

Pros:

Omnisend is an uncomplicated email marketing tool. I've used other softwares before and Omnisend stands out in user-friendliness. Also, their customer service is outstanding, their team is very responsive, which is something that big companies won't give you: a real human on the other side supporting your journey. I hope they don't change that.

Cons:

They are focused on e-commerce platforms, heavily on Shopify. You can work with other systems, but there is more technical work to do on your end if you want to connect it to other platforms.

Reasons for switching to Omnisend

User-friendliness. Also MailChimp started to charge for every single feature a-la-cart. Since they were acquired the value of service went down.

Perfect for small businesses!

Really enjoy omnisend! It works perfectly for my small business emails! It’s very easy to use and I love the way I can see the analytics of email marketing and the sales the come in from that campaign!

We love how easy it is to use and the way it tracks and shows our Shopify sales analytics of each campaign.

Cons:

Not a fan of the current layout and how it keep changing every few months. Once I get used to one layout, they change it again.

Great Service and Support

Onnisend has been an excellent choice for us, pricing is competitive and support has been excellent, would highly recommend. The included SMS credits are welcome and perform very well for us.

Highly recommend for small businesses and beyond

It's been a really great experience, we've worked with them since August and have had hands on help consistently. It's allowed us to implement more and optimize our email and SMS.

Choose Omnisend, you won't regret it!

We have been Omnisend clients for about two years and are quite happy with our experience thus far.

Pros:

They have great account managers, I have always been able to get into contact with my account manager or a support team member quickly. They are also constantly updating features, if there isn't a feature available you can request them to look into it. Most of my requests have been addressed or fixed. Lastly it is a very cost-efficient platform, I researched many others and Omnisend had an extremely competitive cost.

Cons:

Originally the SMS program was very simple, but it has evolved with feature changes and updates. Now it gives the functionality of most other platforms.

Reasons for choosing Omnisend

Omnisend had a better price, specifically the unlimited email sends. That was a big factor in why we went with omnisend.

Reasons for switching to Omnisend

Expensive and required too much dev team participation in order to do anything technical.

Omnisend has been a great ESP solution for my business. I have used several marketing & digital platforms in my professions career and overall, the ease of use and features for the cost are outstanding.

Cons:

Inability to have more custom landing pages and use custom domains for landing pages

A solid and effective email platform

Overall a very good platform for our email marketing and e-commerce transactional emailing needs. The platform is user-friendly and straightforward, and support has always been helpful and responsive when needed.

Ease of configuring and customizing emails, powerful automations, and excellent support anytime I've needed to reach out with a question or clarification.

Cons:

Lack of SMTP support. Not a dealbreaker, but I've found most email marketing platforms also provide an SMTP integration for the websites they're connecting to. So we actually have to use a free tier of a competing email marketing service to handle this particular functionality. It would be nice to have this all under "one roof", so to speak. Reporting is a bit basic on the standard plan, requiring a fairly significant cost-per-month increase to access what they call "advanced reporting" in their Pro plan. We don't need the additional features bundled with the pro plan, so it's hard to justify the increased spend just to access better reports.

Price/feature set was solid, and the platform itself appeared to be modern and well designed.

Trouble validating emails provided by our customers offline. We've been in business over 60 years (long before email was a thing), but we still had thousands of customer emails dating back some time. Because many of these emails weren't opted-in using an online form, we experienced many account issues trying to use these.
