Abbadox elevates our Patient Experience with a true RIS built for our needs!

The experience with Abbadox has been great. The team is helpful to try to come up with creative solutions when a workflow isn't working the way we had it planned prior to go-live. Prior to Abbadox, our system was about 75% manual process or required us to use "bandaid" solutions to accomplish scheduling patients. Now with Abbadox and AI Faxing, we are able to schedule patients much sooner and smoother.

Pros:

My favorite thing about Abbadox is that the system is specifically made for Imaging Centers and that the product is always under constant improvement! The implementation team is supportive and helpful to get our system fine-tuned to our unique needs. I also really like that Abbadox seeks feedback from its users for product enhancement, rather than just guessing or telling us features that we will want to use.

Cons:

I would like to see more of the tools integrated directly into the Abbadox Careflow software, such as ScanDocs, Jot Form, etc. I also think the process for setting up scheduling rules could be developed to be more user friendly. Perhaps Abbadox can develop an AI tool that Administrators can use to tell AI changes they want in the schedule or procedure rules and then the AI can apply the rule. Example would be, "Hey AI, change my settings to block Abdominal US exams from being scheduled in the afternoon." and then the AI would apply the appropriate rules to prevent those exams from being booked in the afternoon.

The user friendly interface and workflow optimization

Cons:

The system had a lot more bugs than anticipated during launch. We also have experienced numerous outages of various portions of Abbadox, causing major disruptions in patient care. Examples, scandox being down, faxes not coming in. Would like to see easier translation services within Abbadox for patient communications, e.i. not have to make forms for each language.

An amazing product from an outstanding company

Our overall experience has been great. We do encounter small issues from time to time but the Abbadox support team responds very quickly to our problems and gets them resolved right away. It's also great that the leadership and sales teams check in with us on a regular basis to ensure things are working as they should.

It's an easy to use system backed by outstanding customer service. Both their sales and support teams were with us every step of the way.

Cons:

Honestly, I haven't found anything I don't like about their system or the company.

Reasons for choosing AbbaDox

Abbadox had some great features available, but so did some of the other vendors. One of my deciding factors, Abbadox was one of only 2 vendors that actually came in, performed a workflow analysis and really understood our centers unique workflows. Most vendors just gave us the typical "yes, we can do it" responses but didn't really understand what we needed them to do for us.

The system we were using was out of date compared to modern solutions. It was missing core components that we needed to be more efficient.

Now that I know all the functions and options a little better, it will be great to use the SMS notifications for lay letters and reminders to schedule a mammogram

Cons:

Not having the option for a new patient to schedule an appointment online. If a patient that has not been to our office before should be able to schedule an appointment without having to call to speak to someone

Pros:

It is very versatile. I like that there is more than one way to complete the same task. You pick what works best for you. I am excited for the new changes to come with AbbaDox too! These changes will help everyone here do their jobs better and that's a good thing!

Cons:

No cons about the product itself. It was really great to have an experienced and knowledgeable AbbaDox team take time with us and listen to our needs.

Great product and user friendly. Really looking forward to using the SMS chat for recalling patients when they are due for screening exams.

The upcoming changes and possibility of utilizing the Breast Health section. Very user friendly. The SMS chat has saved time on the phone for appointment reminder calls.

Cons:

No cons. Our initial onsite trainer didn't seem as knowledgeable as this second group who were very on top of things and were able to answer our questions.

Ease of use and workflow. From the very start to the completion of a scheduled exam, this is a great product to work with.

Cons:

The program initially was very dependent on a higher internet speed. Once that was resolved, it has been very smooth to use.

My overall experience with Abbodox is very great and I found it very easy to use. I would recommend for other company's to get Abbadox due to the user friendliness.

The very thing I like the most about Abbadox is that all the information is easily seen and accessible.

Cons:

The part I like the least about Abbadox would have to be the loading time. It is very hard to get as much work done in the day when most of the time your page is loading.

AbbaDox makes Radiology easy

I use the CRM and RIS daily, very user friendly, and gets me the answers I need quickly.

Reports in the CRM. Using the appointments tab to review referring physicians and payors.

Cons:

The timeout feature when looking at appointments. You used to be able to go back 12 months, now it is limited to 6 months. Allow filtering in Analytics before running a report.

Great improvements over the years

I've been working over 6 years with Abbdadox and it's amazing all the great improvements from the old system to the new one.

The simplicity to schedule the patients appointments, the automated text messages, Faxio and of course the AI sytem

Cons:

That sometimes it's slow and we have troubles loading the calendar and the AI takes about 20 minutes to recognize the patients information.
