Focus on billing not EHR

Pros:

It becomes apparent quickly this software is focused on billing and coding and not on patient interface. For those are are okay with that, then this is a really good software for the price. I am always partial to cloud based and the fact that your fee comes with clearinghouse and scrubbing technology. I do like a lot of the back office features.

Cons:

I really feel like the front desk and the EHR portions of the system are "par for the course". I wouldn't say they are better than any of the other software out there, but there is customization ability and that helps. It takes awhile to get everything set up (too long) and then it is click heavy to utilize.

PayDC - Complete, Comprehensive, and Easy

Our overall experience has been extremely positive. From the support staff, the ease of use, the comprehensive documentation, the compliance, and [sensitive content hidden] himself, it's been a wonderful relationship, and I hope to use PayDC for years to come. The software rarely goes down which makes patient care and note taking very easy, and the fact that it's completely cloud-based, makes my life as a busy provider, husband and father that much better.

I've looked at a lot of documentation services, and PayDC is by far the most detailed and comprehensive EHR software. After reviewing notes of other chiropractors, PayDC looks substantially more complete and thorough which makes us feel extremely good about any potential pre-authorization determinations, audits and continued care requests.

Cons:

This isn't saying anything bad about the software, but it was quite the transition from paper notes to electronic health records. It took a little bit of time to get the hang of it, but once we did, it made documentation a lot easier!

Stay away fellow chiropractors!

The software is trash. You need days and days of training. You have to click almost everything possible to get into where you need to go

None whatsoever. I regret to stop by their booth at a conference where the salesman was really convincing and got me to sign up for a contract. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR CONTRACT! Also, customer service is horrible. I tried to email them for some help recently and no reply back. Horrible company and horrible product.

Cons:

They’re customer service. They sell you on being a chiropractic ran company but they just want to “eat their young”. They do not care about chiropractors.

The quality of notes provided and the billing team is so efficient. [sensitive content hidden] is amazing! [sensitive content hidden] is quick to respond to any questions or concern. She is super friendly.

Cons:

nothing to say here since I don't really consider there to be any cons. I have been in practice since 1989 so it did take me a little time to learn the software, but the trainers were so helpful.

Restful Sleep

Using PayDC for my EHR and billing services enables me to sleep better at night. My notes are defensible and my bills go out and get processed.

It is impossible to make coding mistakes with PayDC. They listen to the concerns of the clients in providing consistent and relevant upgrades. Very easy to use and intuitive.

Cons:

No inventory system. It is tedious to download and print file cabinet records, and even SOAPS, when completing a records request.

Pros:

Like everything else in our computer world, once you get the "hang of it," it is quite easy as far as Doctor's daily input goes. I use it daily for patient care. I do not know clinic reports or the billing aspect, or the clinic metrics. Once it is set up as a new clinic and all your inputting is complete in the setting wizard and advanced settings (CPT code, Dx. Pricing, etc), it runs quite smoothly. Having Macros is amazing, and when used correctly, I do very little typing, which saves time and makes the notes more uniform when having multiple locations and doctors. Having support videos is great for first-time users. When I first started using Pay DC, I used them weekly until I got "the hang of it". Wizard and advanced settings let me tailor the needs of the clinic, and as the clinic's needs change, it is easy to make those changes when necessary.

Cons:

As Doctors' daily input, the targets you need to click on need to be bigger (trigger points, spasm, tenderness). The body chart for muscles could be bigger, too. When you first open a file with a right click, delete a patient, and the patient account should be further apart. Care plan contributing factors should be limited and not be able to be added at the time of the care plan. (We have hundreds of entries that the doctors put in, and we can not remove them.) When measuring range of motion, the % should move in "Tens" when using the quick arrows.

Not for Cash Based Practices

If you are a chiropractor the doctor side of this is pretty good, notes being the best part. but for everyone else who needs to use it like the front desk they will be frustrated, and it will slow them donn, and who wants that energy in their front office? The sales people will say it does everything, but you will buy it and find out that is really not true. Then when you realize the product that doesn't work for you, or you will pay the $1599 cancellation fee.

If you take insurance, the program will keep you compliant, you will be warned before you do something you shouldn't to stay complaint

Cons:

You front desk will threaten to quit because it it so difficult and awkward to use. Selling things? DO NOT get this program, its slow and difficult and time intensive. Cash practice? Don't even consider this program. you will not have the flexibility or simplicity options. It will keep you doing all the extra work you need to do if you are insurance based. THe time it takes is not worth it
