Pros / Cons
  • OneCause works perfectly for my large scale nonprofit events. While some other softwares tout themselves as being "free", I find that OneCause is worth the investment as it provides a seamless experience for guests and comprehensive event management for me.
  • There have only been a few things I did not like about OneCause's mobile bidding platform, mostly dealing with file types and image hosting on a thirdparty platform (dropbox) BUT those have issues have been resolved with their new platform :)

  • It was extremely easy for me to create all the items, manage the shipping, and deal with the purchases and payments after the event. If we were to ever get more serious or have more regular auctions, I would hope for some more bells and whistles, but that's not what I needed this time, and winningbidder.com was the perfect solution.
  • That people had to use their credit cards and scan qr codes, older people got confused and didnt end up bidding because of it
