About ClickBid

ClickBid is a cloud-based mobile bidding and auction management solution designed for small and midsize businesses. It offers event licensing, mass messaging and payment processing functionalities within a suite.

ClickBid enables users to collect bids, register bidders and manage check-ins and check-outs through the mobile app. The solution allows users to search bidders by name, a function that can be used by volunteers during bidder check-ins. During the bidding process, bidders can view the list of available items and current bidding amounts on the mobile application. Bidders can also check the status of their selected items by clicking on the "My Bids" button.

After an event, ClickBid can send notifications to the winners along with printer-compatible receipts. The solution integrates with payment portals such as Authorize.net, Stripe, Moneris, Braintree and Beanstream.

I used Click Bid for my annual charity auction and it was easy to use.

We raised a record amount of money the past two years we used this software for our annual charity auction. Also the ease of using the software allowed us more time to concentrate on other things pertaining to the auction because we did not have to worry about the software working properly.

Pros:
The software is intuitive and easy to use and also loads bid items, etc. very quickly. Bidders are notified when they are out-bid which I think helped us to raise record amounts with this auction the past two years we have used ClickBid. Also, the amount of reports that are available post-event were really helpful to our accountant and the rest of the staff.

1. mass text messaging / emailing bidders 2. they added the scheduled drafts for texts/emails to bidders - thank you! 3. consistently enhancing their product 4. support team is very responsive and helpful
Cons:
Biggest complaint is that we can't process payments for outstanding ticket or sponsorship sales the way we can for event sales.

Reasons for switching to ClickBid

Cost and functionality - I wasn't on the team when the switch was made but that is what I have heard

Great for small events

for the price and the customer service, id recommend this for a small non-profit event, as it offers the bones of what is needed to run a successful small event.

Pros:
It's one of the most affordable event fundraising software out there. Their customer service is great-- they have a dedicated staff member assigned to you for the duration of your contract and for the day of your event at no extra charge. They also have a live chat feature for any questions.
Cons:
Their software is outdated, and several of its features are not very customizable and are limited. Its not very user intuitive and requires a lot of manual work to build a landing page and auction pages.

ClickBid is fairly easy to learn and is intuitive for the most part.
Cons:
The platform for online auctions was a little limiting to me. I would like it to have a little more robust offerings to the user.

Reasons for switching to ClickBid

We made the switch because OneCause was too complicated and not user-friendly. It was also very expensive. We found ClickBid to be much more intuitive and user-friendly, and far more budget friendly.

Best auction ever!

I loved it! From ease of use on our end to ease of use on the donor end. Even when we go back to doing our event live, we will be continuing to use Clickbid.

I love using Clickbid. It was super easy to set up and for data-nerds like myself, fun to use. This was our first time doing our silent auction online. We almost doubled what our silent auction did the year before.
Cons:
The only thing I didn't like was I thought that the reporting could have been easier to understand.

Reasons for choosing ClickBid

I would consider Clickbid to be priced Mid-tier but with all the enhancements of a high tier system. I wanted a software that was easy to use and affordable. Clickbid was both.

The ability to have pictures for each of the auction items, ease of bidding for the user
Cons:
It was our first auction with the software so we had a few kinks to work through. There were a few reports after the event I had to work through to find what I wanted.

Reasons for choosing ClickBid

There was another product, I can't remember the name, we were set to use. ClickBid is local and had been recommended to me several years previous. It just seemed right.

We love the ease of use and great price for our nonprofit. We used another auction software last year which was very difficult to set up. ClickBid has been a breeze as far as their onboarding and set up. They have been quick to respond to our support requests. The whole process has been pleasant.
Cons:
ClickBid makes it easy by limiting customization. So while I wish we could make our landing page a little more customized, I will gladly trade that for the ease in the rollout.

Easy Enough to Use!

Overall, I had a decent experience! It would be nice if certain features were more simple to navigate, but I think it is just a platform that you need to have experience on. As a first-time user, it was easy enough!

I liked that all of the featured were mobile and it easily integrated to our website! The chat feature was nice to have as well.
Cons:
There were several features that were difficult to navigate. It would be nice if everything that was needed was in the same place. Event Central does a decent job of this, but in a high stress situation where several items are closing at the same time, there seems to be no way to avoid the clutter and confusion. Sometimes the questions I asked in chat were not really answered - I just kind of got an answer for a different question. I also was worried that our account rep was gone during our event.

Super user friendly, flexible, constantly improving. I like that I can easily manage every detail of my event in one place.
Cons:
Hard to say. Each year I have used it, it's gotten better. My main complaint last year was that you could figure out which bidders were outbidding you but, this year, thats corrected. I do wish that you couldnt potentially just put in someone else its bidder number and bid so easily.

Customer service was very responsive. Both email and on phone and it seemed they always had backup. Nights and weekends. Also I found the software easier to use once I learned it
Cons:
Didnt work well with facebook merchant. Crashed during ticket push and I didnt get notification of error from company - from users instead. Also, I didnt like the video training. Id rather read how to use a product, I dont have time to watch videos.
