Pros:

I like that Macrostax has so many food options and recipes available for a wide variety of styles of eating. Be it vegan, GF, or lactose intolerant a person has options to fill thier macros and to have great success with real food real nutrients. The Diet game does not work, its a plan of deprivation that most time humans yoyo from. This way of living, counting your correct macros for your body type and your fitness and health goals works and your not deprived. you can have all kinds of delicious real food.

Cons:

I liked what they had before was an option to fill my macros and all your meals were in for the day and you could just make that and know your on track.. hopefully they bring that back.

Great Nutrition Program

Overall, I think this is by far one of the best nutrition apps out there for gym use. You are able to see data in many different forms, use it for challenges, and or even do custom macros for clients that need it. The client support is also amazing. [sensitive content hidden] has answered any and all questions we have had about the program.

Pros:

I love being able to see the progress for all of my clients. It is very easy to go through and track what they are eating and where tweaks to their diet can be made. I also really like that I can use it for nutrition challenges. It makes it so much easier to track clients points throughout the challenge and they are able to see each other so they can also encourage each other as well.

Cons:

One piece of feedback I often get from athletes is that it does not integrate with Garmin, FitBit, etc.

Highly Recommend Taking Advantage of Macrostax Team to Add Value to your Gym!

Great experience so far! As coaches, we love being able to see our members' logs and progress to help keep them accountable. It has really leveled up our value as a group fitness studio being able to offer a nutrition component that we can be as "hands on" or "hands off" as we want to be.

We utilized Macrostax Team for a recent challenge and it was so much fun for our members to be able to stay connected and share recipes, tips, and motivation with each other. As coaches, we were able to easily communicate with all participants and provide quick responses and motivation.

Cons:

There was a bit of a learning curve for members with utilizing all the features. However, the support from Macrostax and resources for giving guidance are easy to access.

Love the app, so helpful!

[sensitive content hidden] has been super helpful, she even gave some check in questions that she uses for her clients. Is there a way to get this into a weekly automated check in process?

Pros:

This took all the manual calculations out of coaching my clients which saved me a lot of time. I love the thumbs up segment for quick reference on how clients are doing and our members really love the recipes in making the food taste good. This has helped a lot of families eat healthier together and can’t wait to see the impact here.

Cons:

I wish the app would have a quick onboarding tutorial video that walks people through how to best use the app and resources. This would save gym owners time on getting people up to speed on on their “self guided” experience utilizing the staxchat for when they need help.

If you are thinking about adding nutrition to your services make sure you Try Macrostax

Friendly and professional. Very much working hard to make sure the product is understood and experienced while not creating a "pushy" sales experience. They were patient and let me use the product for a little bit and followed up to make sure any question I had were answered.

The accountability a coach can bring to clients and teams makes this a great tool for success. The recipes and “plan my meals” function are awesome for clients who don’t yet know how to build meals that support their goals.

Cons:

I would like to see auto adjustments to total caloric intake based on progress.
