About Klarna

Klarna is a payment processing platform, which helps businesses streamline customers' checkout experiences using on-site messages, marketing banners and more. It messaging widget enables retailers to display offered payment methods based on item prices and shopping basket's size.

Using Klarna, organizations can accept payments via bank transfers or cards and customize on-site messages' text font and color. The mobile application helps shoppers report returns, communicate with customer service agents, track deliveries, recieve alerts about price drop across saved items, access deals or discounts and more. Additionally, the platform automatically fills shipping or billing details for returning customers.

Klarna integrates with various third-party systems such as BigCommerce, Ayden and Aurora Commerce, among others. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via knowledge base, documentation, live chat and phone.

Amazing Service

Love it, cant say enough good things about it, team are there to support you whether your a small business or big retailer. We have also worked with them at events which was an amazing opportunity

Pros:

Integrates perfect with shopify, customer service there 24/7 to assist if any issues, setup was straight forwards when you have the right documents, there team work close with you on boarding.

Cons:

Decline rate has increased in past year but this i prob down to FCA regulations

Klarna has a huge advertising budget, they were willing to work with SME and promote them via the app, paypal is now old school whereas klarna is the new pay later option which everyone knows

Terrible app don’t sign into it because you won’t be able to get out of it

Terrible app. Can’t sign in keep sending me to text numbers to continue. I put them in and then the screen gets locked. Most frustrating app I’ve ever ever used.

Tried to sign in they keep sending me verification codes. I keep putting them in. I want to chat with somebody can’t can’t sign in. It’s the most useless app I’ve ever been on. I can’t even delete it because I can’t sign into this stupid thing.

Cons:

Can’t sign in can’t get to chat with anybody your phone there and they can’t help me so don’t waste your time calling there and you can’t even delete the app because you have to be able to sign in which you can’t sign in. It’s ridiculous waste of time.

klarna is an easy and secure way to pay online in installments when it is more convenient for the buyer. i use this often, along with afterpay as these are similar and not always offered on the same sites.

Cons:

there is nothing i do not like about klarna. it is easily navigate-able online and in the app and makes paying on credit without interest very convenient.

Do not use Klarna total rip off

I have been on Klarna for several years and had no problems then all of a sudden they take my purchase power from $1200 to $300!! No late payment or anything. After I've worked hard to build up my purchase power only to have it taken away for no reason! I could have been putting that time and money into another company total rip off I see why people don't pay them

Paying Interest-free for 3 months is helpful

It has been great when you have to manage your monthly spending budget. I get to spread a costly item over 3 months. And I am able to get a luxury item because of Klarna knowing I will get it paid for 3 months only. Just making sure I am not spending on the next 2 months. So then I get to splurge myself 4 times a year. Girl math. Ha ha

The 3 installment or pay in 30 days option interest free is a great way to get that item you wanted that is a bit over your monthly spending budget. Paying over 3 months is helpful.

Cons:

I think some of the shops are still not using Klarna but it’s getting there. As Klarna is becoming so popular, I wouldn’t be surprised if all of the shops will opt to use their payment platform.

get scammed on Klarna they won't help you to get your money back

I got scammed on Klarna I bought flight tickets on the Klarna app I did not get the tickets I contacted Klarna asking to please help as it was £1000 They asked me to submitted proof of email with the store who sold me the flight I did gave them the emails They also asked me to contact the store by phone and screenshot the call and send to them which I did. Everything they asked me to proof I did However they keep saying “we will sort it after 6 month I find out they sent me to a debt agency and reported me affecting my life and credit score. I call them And ask: How I will paid fornaomething that I did not recive??? Answer from Klarna is not our problem you sorted basically in all honesty if you planning to sing in on Klarna - DONT do it “DO NOT USE KLARNA IF YOU GET SCAMMED IN THEIR APP THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY AND YOU CREDIT SCORE AS ALL THEY WILL DO IS REPIRT YOU IN A DEBT AGENCY THEY WILL NOT CARE OF AS CUSTOMER “

Break Payments off into Smaller Payments

Klarna has been a true lifesaver for me. At first, I was a little wary about the app, but over time I have grown to love the app a lot. You shop through the Klarna app and they generate a payment card for you to make a purchase. You then can select to pay over 4 payments every two weeks for an amount of your total purchase or if you're able to do the financing then you can pay it over 6 months with a payment per month, of course, the financing has an interest, but the big thing is that making on-time payments does help your credit score as well. You also don't have to wait to pay for every two weeks, so if you want to pay off your purchase you can also do that as well. I highly recommend using Klarna because it is very helpful and convient.

I like the fact that I am able to get products and then pay for them over time. I also like that making timely payments actual help to improve your credit score as well.

Cons:

I would like the ability to be able to change a pay day sometimes will take the payment automatically, and sometimes it will postpone the payment until you have the funds. So I would like the ability to change the payday for at least one payment so you never have the risk of it automatically taking out.

Its easy to get approved & there are tons of different places to shop at, online AND in person. With the "one-time" card you are given, shopping online or in person is easy, smooth & fast

Cons:

It takes awhile to catch up, almost like when your wifi signal is poor or you're running out of data. It takes a bit longer to load than the normal length that most people are used to
