    1. Customer service is nearly useless - could not fix my problem after 3+ phone calls then gaslit me telling me my internet is too slow 2. This month I found a payment that had not cleared, I called and was lied to about what happened 3. Set up a verbal password to bypass checking my info, they "misheard" me? Whats the point then!

    I have been using this for several years. I like that clients can add a tip onto it. They also take out their fees before depositing your money which I also like.
    Cons:
    I don't like that I have to keep sighing into the app every time I want to use it. You create a 4 digit pin but it doesn't let you use that to sign in???

    I never had any issue with payanywhere when using- I do recommend it for those who are looking for a hassle free card service if need something basic. I wanted something with more features and options when business grew.

    1st starting a business it is great & easy. Fees are very low and can track sales & clients easily.
    Cons:
    Becoming busier in my job it didn't have a lot of features beyond the basics that other competitors of payanywhere had. Invoicing, Scheduling, Gift Cards, & Even a debit/credit card associated with the account are a few things they could add to entice people to stay with them.

Attempts to escalate concerns to management are met with a brick wall of scripted responses and a frustrating lack of accountability. Customer service at PayAnywhere/North American Bancard is a nightmare, characterized by poor English skills among representatives and a shocking absence of empathy. Engaging with their support staff feels like conversing with robots programmed to recite predetermined scripts, leading to prolonged wait times and unresolved issues that leave customers feeling unheard and undervalued.     Despite the negative aspects of PayAnywhere/North American Bancard, one positive feature is their free equipment placement program. Initially, a contract was signed for a nominal monthly fee of $14.95 for software access, with no additional hardware or fees. For several years, the company adhered to this agreement. When a technical issue arose and tech support suggested an upgrade, assurances were given that no extra charges would apply based on the existing contract. However, upon receiving the upgraded machine, an unauthorized monthly hardware fee was imposed. Despite regular refunds upon complaint, the fee persisted. Additionally, an unexpected annual regulatory fee was deducted from the user's account without authorization. After contentious discussions, PayAnywhere/North American Bancard agreed to refund only half of the fee if the account was retained. Following a full dispute of the charge, the account was terminated, leading to subsequent debt collection harassment.

    Unstable network, wouldn't send invoices, or failed to provess payments. It was so bad at the end i had to have my customers leave cash.
