About Vevox

Vevox is a cloud-based polling and Q&A platform designed to help educational institutions and businesses improve employee/student engagement via feedback, polls, interactive sessions and more. The application enables organizations to create custom polls using star rating, open-ended, multiple-choice and other types of questions.

Vevox allows administrators to gain visibility into attendance, comments, poll or survey results, messages, questions, and more via downloadable Microsoft Excel reports. It offers white-labelling capabilities, which let enterprises personalize the web and mobile applications with custom images, themes, content and more to establish brand identity. Additionally, administrators can gather anonymous feedback, comments or votes from participants and sort posts by the number of likes using the Q&A module.

Vevox supports integration with Microsoft PowerPoint, enabling users to design interactive presentations with polls. It is available for free and on monthly/annual subscriptions and support is provided via phone, email and other online measures.

Flexible, User-Friendly Platform for Events and Data Collection

Vevox is our recommended solution whenever a client requires a solution for polling, Q&As or general event session engagement for a reason. On the surface, and most importantly for attendees, it looks simple and easy to use. But behind the door it offers a deep array of features and flexibility. The output of data is also crucial for us and thankfully that area is also well covered.

I appreciate Vevox for its excellent UI and UX perspective, making it easy for attendees to get started even if it's their first time using it. I like how it combines simplicity on the surface with deeper customization options for organizers who want a more tailored solution. Vevox really stands out with its flexibility and focus, which allows us to meet the specific needs of our clients. Its simplicity and ease of access, like providing both a QR code and manual entry code, help remove any friction for attendees with varying technology proficiency, which is crucial during event days. Vevox has always been our first go-to solution for polling and session interactivity. The support has also been incredible when needed, along with fantastic regular webinars to help you understand the full depth of the platform.
Cons:
Nothing really! It's a solid platform overall that offers all the features we could need for our deployments.

Engaging and Easy to Use Classroom tool!

Vevox has made my classroom exciting and engaging, I am really grateful for a platform that is easy to use and incorporate into my lectures. My students love it too! They really appreciate the live nature of it, and how they can test their knowledge on the spot during our classes

Vevox is very easy to incorporate into my classroom, I love how simple it is to use for both myself and my students. It makes our lectures more engaging and keeps my students involved.
Cons:
I do not have any technical issues with Vevox, it is super user friendly and the software is organized. One feature I wish was included was adding images or complex text (like formulas, subscripts, etc... I teach chemistry!) to the text of the multiple choice questions

What I’ve consistently appreciated about Vevox is the passion and responsiveness of the Customer Enablement and Account Management team. Their partnership mindset and commitment to helping customers succeed make a genuine difference. A special thanks to Lewis Thompson, Dermott Madden, and the development team for their exceptional collaboration with bp’s webcast manager during the September 2025 Energy Outlook event. This was a global webcast with over 20,000 live participants joining from China and across the world. The Vevox team worked hand-in-hand with bp to deliver a bilingual polling experience (Chinese and English) with aggregated live results displayed seamlessly in real time. It was a technically complex, high-visibility event for bp — and the flawless execution demonstrated Vevox’s ability to deliver at true enterprise scale. This is exactly what sets Vevox apart from native polling tools like Microsoft Polls. The Customer Success team has also been instrumental in ensuring bp gains maximum value from the platform. Whenever colleagues need help preparing polls for workshops or events, Vevox support is consistently fast, expert, and friendly. The feedback we receive internally is overwhelmingly positive — users often describe “lightbulb” moments after their first training, realising how easily Vevox can elevate engagement. These interactions have built lasting confidence across bp’s business units. Vevox’s support resources — documentation, videos, and webinars — are consistently excellent. Regular enablement sessions and digital cafés co-hosted with the team have strengthened stakeholder relationships and surfaced innovative use cases. For example, in bp’s Wells business, Vevox is now routinely used to deliver training quizzes and knowledge checks for hundreds of users before certification exams. The new enhancement that allows participants to save and return to quizzes later has been particularly well received, supporting flexible, self-paced learning. We also continue to see Vevox driving open and inclusive communication during town halls and safety meetings, enabling employees to share views anonymously and foster more transparent dialogue. The PowerPoint integration makes it effortless for presenters to run live polls and capture sentiment without breaking flow. Overall, Vevox remains one of the most user-friendly, reliable, and well-supported tools in bp’s collaboration ecosystem. It’s easy to administer, simple for end users, and backed by a genuinely dedicated vendor team that listens, iterates, and continuously enhances the product based on real customer insight.
Cons:
From a product management and enterprise adoption perspective, there is clear potential for Vevox to evolve further particularly in applying AI and data intelligence to strengthen insight generation, scalability, and integration across large organisations. 1. AI-Driven Analytics and Clustering One area with significant potential is AI-assisted data processing during live polling. Currently, the platform provides limited aggregation, and zero automation for interpreting responses at scale. Introducing AI clustering for open-text or word cloud polls would transform the user experience, especially for large town halls. For example, if participants respond “UK,” “United Kingdom,” or “England” to the same question, an AI model could automatically group these into one logical cluster, reducing manual clean-up and improving clarity of insights. This capability would make Vevox far more scalable and competitive against emerging AI-enabled engagement tools, while providing faster feedback loops for presenters. 2. Product Development Cadence The recent enhancement allowing users to save and return to quiz responses has been well received across bp. However, since the last product update (June 2025), progress has appeared slower than expected. It would be helpful to see a more transparent product roadmap, particularly highlighting innovation areas such as AI summarisation, sentiment analysis, and integration updates. Regular “what’s new” sessions or quarterly product briefings for enterprise clients could help maintain excitement and signal continuous improvement. 3. Intelligent Use-Case Insights As an enterprise product owner, I often have to infer how Vevox is being used based on the poll titles or event names provided by hosts. A valuable enhancement would be to build intelligence into the platform that categorises polls automatically (e.g., training, safety, town hall, learning feedback, etc.) based on the questions entered and host confirmation. This would provide product owners and adoption leads with far greater visibility into usage trends and business value, supporting internal reporting and ROI conversations. 4. Deeper Integration with Microsoft 365 Ecosystem While the Teams add-in has improved accessibility, there’s still room for deeper integration and improved reliability during large-scale meetings and webinars. Ideally, users could launch, manage, and review polls directly within Teams meetings or channels without switching interfaces. Strengthening alignment with Microsoft’s evolving Copilot and Viva ecosystems would future-proof Vevox, positioning it as a complementary, AI-ready engagement tool rather than a standalone app. Vevox already excels at usability and customer support. The next step is to focus on AI-driven intelligence, richer analytics, and seamless Microsoft 365 integration. These will unlock scalability for global enterprises, improve data-driven decision-making, and sustain Vevox’s competitive advantage in an AI-augmented world

Pros:
The favorite part of this platform is how I can quickly, conveniently, and effortlessly participate and express my opinion and comment on these meetings. Only a few clicks on my phone or personal laptop, and you are responding to the polls, voting for some of the brilliant ideas, and, if you wish, you can put forward a question anonymously.
Cons:
The hardest part is one thing, and it is how rough the whole platform looks and feels. There seems to be a lack of modern and user-friendly functionality, as some of our other corporate tools look like; a more comfortable and friendly option would be appreciated.

Simple, Interactive, and Effective for Student Engagement

Overall, Vevox has been a very positive experience. I recently had a meeting with Amie from Vevox, who shared a number of practical tips and new ways to maximise the features, so I’m now more confident and excited to use it more extensively in my teaching. Vevox is very easy to use, both in the browser and when integrating into PowerPoint. I particularly like the word cloud, polls, and ranking question formats — these make it quick to gather students’ thoughts and see common themes emerging in real time. It’s extremely helpful for capturing general ideas from students and encouraging participation, especially in larger classes. The platform is intuitive and requires very little setup time.
Cons:
If I had to point out one drawback, it would be the interface. The visuals feel slightly grey, plain, and cold. A more vibrant or customisable theme would make the experience more engaging visually for students.

I am using both. Using Kahoot for a smaller group for fun activity, while using Vevox for a larger class.

Cons:
The Quiz tool can have more features like bonus points for some questions etc. The idea is to not only have engagement and fun through the topics but also scoring.

Outstanding Support and Intuitive UI Make Vevox a Standout Choice

The team in Vevox have and continue to be so supportive, encouraging and invested in the success of the platform at our university, where we have had a steady rate of adoption over the past six years. Students love the ease with which they can engage with polls and surveys, and for the opportunity to apply their learning through these. Staff love the ability to quickly engage with students and shift from a transmission pedagogy to an interactive pedagogy. The platform stability and simple UI are key factors for staff and student adoption.

There are lots of things I like about Vevox, it's hard to narrow it down! Definitely near the top of the list is the fantastic support provided by the Vevox team. Since becoming a Vevox customer six years ago, our university has continued to have a strong and mutually beneficial relationship with Vevox. The team are invested in our success, and go above and beyond to check in, support and encourage our usage of the platform. The platform itself has a fantastic UI, the best of any similar product on the market. It is fresh, clean, modern, intuitive and so easy to use. This is vital for university lecturers, many of whom would not have strong digital skills, so being able to quickly and easily pick up a digital tool for their teaching is so important. Lastly, the continuous, steady development of new features for Vevox is another fantastic dimension of the platform. The platform is so different to when we first used it six years ago, and has so many new features added, many of which were developed based on customer feedback.
Cons:
An add-on/extension for Google Slides, similar to the Office 365 add-on, would be welcome, as our university uses the Google suite of apps.

I use Vevox for corporate events on a custom platform. It negates the need for in-house system development, offering user-friendly templates for Q&A and voting, excellent customer support, and easy setup. I suggest more customization options via CSS for improvement. Overall, I rate it 10/10, preferring it over Slido, mainly for its superior customer service.

I really appreciate that with Vevox, we don't need to develop our own system, which is a huge relief. The built-in templates for Q&A and voting are fantastic and make it super easy to set up and brand quickly. I've found the customer support to be fantastic as well. When I'm demoing to clients and need to build out interactivity, there are plenty of examples to share, which definitely makes us look good. Setting up Vevox on our custom platform was very easy and self-explanatory.
Cons:
It would be nice to be able to customize the widget a little more, perhaps with some CSS. Some simple CSS would be really useful.

Ease of use. Lots of different question styles. Anonymization options. You can personalize the look & feel to brand colors + logo. The team loved the live polling at our corporate event.
Cons:
The only think that was confusing was having to re-open every poll question in order to be able to show live results. I might have missed a step in setting it up though and did not negatively affect the experience. Just an extra button click.
