About CareRight

CareRight is a point of care electronic documentation system that allows care facilities to manage residents' health by closely monitoring activities of daily living (ADLs). Facility administrators can utilize the web-based system to create customizable service plans, assessments and ADLs for each resident and document food intake, vitals, behavior and incidents to track progress on a day-to-day basis.

Administrators can utilize a kiosk, tablet, or laptop to access the software and continue recording significant changes across residents’ ADLs in an offline mode. Staff members can document shifts, pro re nata (PRN), days assigned to residents, notes about facilities, exceptions and more. Additionally, facilities can customize the application according to requirements and enable specific features required to collect information from residents.

CareRight allows healthcare professionals to visualize vitals on graphs, monitor input or output of ADLs, identify incidents and trends, monitor compliance across care operations and more.

Best EMR software around

After utilizing Medright I would never change to another program. Implementation is easy. Features are easy to work with. Medication compliance is beyond superior when utilized to its full potential. Thank you Medright for making my job so much easier !

Pros:

Medright programs are very user friendly . The ability to have information easy to access has helped build great relationships with our residents, family members and professional agencies. Quality assurance is a breeze when utilizing the reports available. Unlike other systems it is assisted living friendly and meets our local state requirements.

Cons:

I can’t say over all the years of working with the program that I have found a feature I didn’t like. However if I did I have full confidence Medright would develop a program to satisfaction.

Reasons for switching to CareRight

Point Click Care did not have the fill features we were looking for. Medright brings resident care to 100% paperless and is a total resident care package

Pros:

The MedRight, CareRight, WoundRight software product is the most comprehensive and easy to use documentation program I have ever seen. Our nurses love it, mistakes have been reduced by over 90%, and our revenues have been increased by over 20% due to the most accurate documentation we have ever achieved. I would recommend this program to every LTC and Assisted Living Facility in the country, it is second to no other product. The cost is extremely reasonable and the benefits are incredible.

Cons:

There is so much information captured that at first it seemed overwhelming to our staff, but after they figured out the components that they would use most often, it streamlined their documentation and has given them much more time for direct care to our residents.

Great for use in an Assisted Living Facility

Pros:

This software is easy to use in an assisted living setting. The program is easy to use and teach new staff how to work with it. The support team is very professional and always helps to answer my questions. I've had multiple staff members state that it is better than other electronic health record systems they have used in other facilities.

Cons:

I wish that I could enter orders into the system on my end and it would communicate with the pharmacy so that I don't have to wait for them to enter them in to be able to administer medications that I need to start as soon as possible.

Easy to use and train staff on use.

I asked for a "showers due today" tab for staff and [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] and her team developed shortly after. Also helpful on the phone.

The software is relatively intuitive given the complexity of features. Customer support has been top notch - responsive and engaging!

Ease of use

Cost is very competitive to other products of like capabilities, however this product is all that is needed. MedRight has shown a significant decrease in Med pass time and nursing time. Less time needed in paperwork for Med errors as it has vertically taken away the Med errors.

This program is self explanatory. MedRight is easy to use and takes very little time and education from developers to learn to use this program. Due to the ease of use it has dropped the number of Med errors noted in the past. This is an excellent program.

I have not found anything I dislike about this product.
