Pros:

The ability to set reminders to complete activities in order to ensure that you are staying active throughout the day. The thought of instant gratification is amazing. Getting points for staying active is amazing considering that the points will allow you to redeem for a gift card.

Cons:

There is no reminder that you can set to remind you to drink enough water throughout the day.

it's simple to use, i like the notifications and reminders. I also like the variety of things offered via the app - would like to see more options for rewards, or tracking other things than steps

Cons:

the water tally is annoying, seems like there could be an easier way to capture that. if you could take screenshots from your phone for alarms, music challenges it would be so much easier grocery list challenge never works

Worsr App only care about making money

Terrible. Causes stress instead of relieving stress. They have even removed their health grade.

The app breaks down on a daily basis... as carrot, they offered amazing rewards... Optimity started out ok then changed their format of redeeming rewards. They went from 10000 rewards but people weren't happu. They changed systems now for a $5 card ypu have to take an auction and currently to win it is over 41000 points!! People have cplained they don't care. The points aren't even always rewarded after watching. But guaranteed they get their money... we don't. The ads fail daily. We bring this to their attention and they don't care. Should every app perform perfectly all thentime? No one expects that. However, it's been daily for months if not this past year when the number of people joining has risen? But they have an 'ad display failure ' that they finally admitted it was because they don't have enough ads.. are they letting everyone know? NO!!! This company is causing stress instead of helping!

Cons:

App NOT working properly. And them NOT taking responsibility for their failures. In fact they were rewarded as a new app last year. But didn't ask they actual users.

Reasons for switching to Optimity

It closed down. And its mocw to be rewarded for working out and playing hard.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback! The ad issue has been fixed, we thank you for your patience with this as we resolved the issue with our ad provider. The advertisements are also used to help fund our Public rewards. As for the auctions, you are able to bid any amount you are comfortable with. We have a raffle component that rewards 15% of the daily rewards to users who did not have the minimum highest winning bid, ensuring everyone has a fair opportunity to get a gift card, regardless of how many Gems that have.

Easy to use, can link it to other apps I use that are related. I never go a day without using the app

Pros:

I enjoy the rewards. Optimity provides great incentives for employees to stay active. This is important, especially for people who sit all day in desk jobs. I'm glad that my employer offers fitness incentives, including Optimity, to its employees because I feel that active employees are more productive.

Cons:

The activities are often repetitive. I would love to see more variety. Our employer offers fitness training to all employees but we don't get Optimity points for participating but I think we should. One small problem I have noticed for the past few months is that new rewards are rarely available to cash in. Perhaps the process for this could be facilitated so that rewards are more readily available.

Ease of the application. I like that the daily goals are easy to implement and keeps you on track. Great app.

Cons:

I find it slightly challenging to find custom goals. I have had to ask for assistance in scrolling to find a custom company daily goal.

I enjoyed optimity but I did have difficulty as the rewards kept disappearing.

It motivated me to exercise more with rewards.

I love that you got rewards for fitness. It really motivated me. I ended up doing a lot more exercise to get the Amazon and starbucks vouchers. They were rewards that I really wanted. Not just fitness stuff.

Cons:

After a few days all the rewards disappeared. I am not sure whether that was a technical problem or something else.

Highly recommend Optimity

It helps you keep track of daily routines such as water intake & exercise. It gives you advice on exercises, finances, stress relief, etc. Gives you point incentives when you reach goals.

Accountability for each of the activities. Each activity seemed to help me improve throughout the process.

Cons:

Need more variety. It seemed like it became monotonous toward the end of the program. The app did not work as often as it seemed like it should have.

It was a really great way to motivate myself because it had a goal and people to compete with

I won some pretty cool gift cards and now I can get health coaching, which is super important to me. I'm a very busy person and I really like having someone else figure all that out for me instead of putting hours of research time into it.

It's got the sense of friendly competition I've always needed in a fitness app and the rewards program when I first started was really awesome!

Cons:

The rewards haven't been great in the product hunt community team. I dont personally have a team large enough to really use this within my own company but I enjoy the fun of it.
