About Heartland Retail

Heartland Retail, formerly Springboard Retail, is a web-based retail solution designed for multi-channel and multi-store retailers. Heartland's point of sale system is fully accessible through any modern web browser on any device. The solution is designed to function well on both touchscreen devices, like the iPad, or on traditional devices like a PC or Mac.

The solution's customer dashboard allows users to better understand their customers by collecting information at the point of sale. Using this data, the software generates high-level statistics about customer preferences and purchase history. Unlimited custom fields mean tracking and reporting can be tailored to the diverse needs of the business. Heartland's inventory management functionality facilitates inventory visibility across the entire enterprise.

Heartland also offers a Javascript API through which users can develop browser-based apps that seamlessly integrate with existing user interfaces. Heartland Retail also offers real-time reporting, inventory management, and purchasing and receiving.

You can't love the POS dashboard.

Smooth and robustness for reports for quick decision making. Love the 360 visibility of customers details. POS for quick billing, invoicing and payments.

Pros:

No need for quickbooks. My accountant pulls reports straight from Springboard at the end of the year. Also I love the inventory management and ability to create one day price changes for sales

Cons:

Customer support is lacking. Gift cards can’t be scanned through credit card reader even when they have the magnetic strip.

Heartland for small business

Heartland was good for all of our needs. We only switched when we went corporate and had to because our company is now using the same as the other corporate hospitals.

The customer service was really good and they were very responsive. I never had to wait to hear back and any issues were resolved quickly.

Cons:

I did not have a bad experience.There was no negatives at the time of us using heartland, and we would not have switched unless we had to.

Intuitive POS system for retail operation

Learn how to learn and quickly able to operate the POS system under on day training. It has many customization for the UI to display the screen interface with tools that we use frequently.

Pros:

Loved the PIC-compliant payment processing that integrate with our retailer POS system and need no other add-on from third-party software to process credit/debit card payment. Inventory management that sync perfectly with our ecommerce website ensure all the product is correctly counted and make no mistake with missing product or sold-out.

Cons:

Our previous cash drawer isn't compatible with Heartland Retail POS system, we had to buy a new hardware for it to work and it is working smoothly after the change.

Pros:

Helpful customer service, very responsive with our request with help to integrate POS system with our current CMS software. Email is responded within 2 days at most, really happy with support experience.

Cons:

Working solutions to replace our previous POS system, Heartland Retail POS is much more modern with advance solution for inventory check-up, payment gateway and daily report. I have no dislike for this platform.

Heartland Retail helped to make it easy to running a retail operation, tracking order/inventory and flawless payment processing from different payment option.

Cons:

Easy to setup. Can integrate easily with tablet that we use in store and warehouse. No issue at all.

Heartland Retail provide an easy platform to track daily sales, Sku's, inventory levels and sales reports. It is now easy to know which product sell well and sells trend

Cons:

I can't think of any problem with this product, It has every thing that a retail business needs. They are effective in managing retails operation.
