Revolut- the bank of the future

With Revolut you can send payment links with which your clients can make payments, and if another user has Revolut you can receive commission-free transfers. Revolut is one of the few payment platforms that offers cashback for your purchases, this is a point to take into account when comparing it with other platforms, it has many integrations with other billing platforms such as Xero, slack among others, its API can be integrated both in web version and in mobile version.

Pros:

Revolut is a payment processor with many tools that has gone unnoticed, it is a Neobank with a lot of potential, I have used the personal and business versions and I can say that it far surpasses large payment processors. One of the functions that I can highlight is that it issues both physical and virtual cards, so you can have better control of expenses and avoid hidden payments, I like that it is digitized and you can receive contactless payments on your iPhone, no need for a POS.

Cons:

What I don't like is that sometimes the synchronization with some banks is not working, I have had problems connecting with a bank, Revolut uses Plaid, and for some reason it doesn’t recognize the login of the bank that I wanted to add.

Cons:

I have nothing bad to say; this tool has been great and has saved us a lot of money on fees. One suggestion will be to make the chat support button more accessible.

Customer service is a mess for businesses

Downgrade/upgrade system is not working well, designed to scam user at every step. We will cancel our business account and look for alternatives.

Multiple accounts, currency exchanges, allowing users to have different access roles, and it is a modern banking experience.

Cons:

We decided to quit using them after spending 100k$+ on their app. Scale plan was auto renewed, however team did not notice and downgraded to Growth, the system did not auto refund the amount. So we paid 180$ for a service we did not use. When we reached out to support, they auto answered only, no help, we will proceed with legal applications. They preferred to keep 180$ for a service not used at all, even though we were regular business customer.

Solid business account for global stuff

I’ve been using this business account for a bit now and it’s helped loads with international payments and juggling multiple currencies. It feels modern and smooth compared to old-school banks. But if your business is growing fast you’ll need to watch the fees and plan restrictions. For someone doing online/global work and who’s cool with managing everything from a phone or laptop, it’s a pretty good option.

The app is really easy to use and I got set up super fast. I can hold different currencies and send payments abroad without it being a huge pain. The cards (physical + virtual) are handy for tracking spending.

Cons:

Some features are locked behind pricier plans, so if you’re on the cheap one you’ll feel a bit restricted. Also, there’s no branch or cash deposit option so everything’s done online, which is fine, but feels limiting sometimes.

Our experience with Revolut Business was terrible.

To be honest, our experience with Revolut Business was terrible. What started as a promising platform quickly turned into a frustrating and stressful situation. We faced issues accessing our own funds, with little to no explanation from support. At one point, we even had money frozen without clear communication — which is incredibly alarming for any business that relies on timely transactions. We’ve been using Stripe for over four years without a single issue, so dealing with Revolut felt like a huge step backwards. In the end, we had to close our personal accounts entirely and only kept the business one active just to retrieve the money we had already received. Looking back, signing up with Revolut was a mistake — one we wouldn’t repeat. It's not a service we can trust, and we wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Its a horrible service and business and no one should ever think about starting any account on this platform.

Cons:

They can freeze your account for any reason, I am running a graphic design business for almost 4 5 years in Poland and never had any issue with any bank or Stripe. This service should be stopped immediately

Pros:

Revolut Business really works well as it allows easy remittance of funds. Most of the time, i have had no reason to complain for my payments, and it's quite secured, which makes it relaxing.

Cons:

Revolut Business could be really difficult to onboard considering loads of requirement for the process. Most times and probably for security reason, youre asked to repeat a process youve completed before which makes it even more difficult.
