UKG Ready is time well managed.

My overall experience with UKG Ready is good. The app made clocking in and out accessible. It also made time management easy.

Ready is a great tool

It has been good so far. Easy to use. Customer Service is lacking & it takes forever regarding integrated files for vendors to be set up and work as they should.

Easy to use. Reporting ability. Being able to auto email reports weekly, monthly, and yearly to yourself, others, as well as outside vendors as needed.

Cons:

Customer Service. It could be better. Reaching out to you when you are not available & then not as flexible to work much or close out the case before it is resolved. Have to fight to keep the case open as needed.

UKG for timesheets is very convenient

Overall, it’s a very convenient and smooth app to use. I also like being able to add a bookmark to the homepage of my laptop, that allows me to go right inside the app.

I’m able to track my employees time, so that way when I submit their hours for payroll, everything is right there inside UKG

Cons:

besides the occasional lag, I really have no issues with UKG, and I’d recommend this app to anyone. I’ve never had any complaints, though.

What was sold to what was given

Overall it is a better experience than our last HRIS but I was disappointed with what we were told we would have compared to the product we received.

Pros:

Functionality first. It was one of the reasons we decided to move to UKG over our last HRIS. Reporting is more robust, timekeeping is more seamless, and customer support is quick with responding and setting up times to troubleshoot. Payroll is a much quicker process.

Cons:

Implementation was less than ideal. We were sold product or oversold product that would have at least basic functionality for the product. Once we implemented we were told any additions come with a cost to us. An example of this is in the ATS portion of the ATS. The ATS does not track the sourcing location of a candidate and where they come from as all is listed as UKG. We were told in order to track that, we had to ask candidates to report that or pay more money to get it tracked, however, that is a basic function of any ATS and should not cost extra. The system should be smart enough to track where the candidate came from. The performance management model feels very dated.

Reasons for switching to UKG Ready

We had a rough go with ADP. I spent months (almost a year) trying to get ADP to help us update and I never got any answers. I was setup with 9 different demos as an existing customer and eventually they shut us off. We had tickets open for a year with no one to help us. Our Rep only would help with Payroll, but Payroll was awful and full of mistakes ran by the system.

Happily Ever After...

My team and I love UKG Ready. We are fairly new clients to the platform. But based upon our previous experiences with other HRIS over the last 10 years - we are finally in a happy place. We still have a few hiccups here and there that we are working on- but overall, we are excited about the plans we have envisioned for our staff using UKG.

The ability to customize different modules to fit our company needs. I truly love the Reports. I thought ADP had the best reports until we implemented UKG.

Cons:

Right now, we are having serious issues with GL Module (grant allocations) and our payroll JE. I'm happy that UKG has an integration with NetSuite. UKG is the first HRIS that has allowed us to integrate our NetSuite software. Our payroll JE has been on an Excel spreadsheet for DECADES and we were required to copy one line at a time into NetSuite... couldn't import the JE.

Flexibility to make the platform our own. We could tailor a lot of the modules to fit what works best for our organization.

Reasons for switching to UKG Ready

Issues with Tax Entities. Every week we were receiving tax notices from various states.

Worth it, try it out!

I love it, it's much easier to have it on my phone and accessible to approve, deny and keep track of my timecard and my employees

I have the accessibility of having the app on my phone which makes checking the time cards of employees a bit more easier and also being able to keep track of my timecard and approving is much easier

The issues I might have would be connecting to our organization and setting up the UKG app for our not so friendly users

UKG Ready allows timeclock and work time scheduling in an easy to use App

I have used the App for quite some time. It allows access to my timesheet, schedule and also time off functions. I can do just about everything with the UKG Ready App that I can do on the computer GUI.

UKG Ready is a powerful App that allows you to track, Monitor and use its Timeclock functions from an easy to navigate app

Cons:

The App updates frequently and loses all of the log in credentials. It easily allows you to reset the password but can take a few minutes to do which can interfere with work.

Ease of use

I work as a Director with using UKG ready and it is easy to get payroll completed. I would like for the payroll to be able to set my payroll to pending approval when it is due instead of current view only and then going back to timesheets that are ended.

Pros:

Ease of clocking in and out and ease of use. The ability for staff to clock in and out is very easy. They can clock in with an app, time clock by finger print or desktop computer.

Cons:

Time is set on the 100 instead of quarters or 60 minute overall figuring. When employees clock in and out the time is to 100's for example of 8.89. It would be easier for staff to figure their total time worked.

I like how easy it is to clock in and out of the app. It saves me time on the daily. I also enjoy how easy it is to schedule my days off in the app. There are many of other features that i'm excited to use.

I dislike the customer support feature on the app. They are not always readily available when support is needed.

The UKG ready app is very user-friendly. It’s interface is easy to navigate and it makes clocking in and out simple.

Cons:

Honestly, there’s nothing I don’t like about the app. Of all the places I have worked, I liked UKG ready clocking in and out app to be the most likeable.
