Very good, especially in tha last couple fo years. It took a bit of time getting up to speed, chagne of teams etc. but since I landed with the current team and we managed to get the TP reports up to par, it has been painless.

Engaging with Exactera allowed us to bring the preparation of our transfer pricing reports in house and reassess the methods and ways we had been doing the report. It gave us the opportunity to understand our entities relationships better and make more intentional decisions.

Cons:

I have not identified any cons from using the software so far.

Reasons for choosing Exactera Transfer Pricing

Thomson Reuters ended up not having a product as they sold it to another company and that product did not meet our needs. Avalara also divested of the tool around the time we were making the decision. Exactera sold their tool well and have kept their promises to us.

KPMG was handling our reports before and the cost compared to the product provided did not make sense for our business and needs.

It was a dumpster fire. Input demands were high. Output was poor and not timely.

Cheap pricing. Good concept but poor execution.

Cons:

Required that input a huge amount of data into their template. They could not / would not pull the data from previous reports or from our website or take it in our current format. The output was poorly worded. It did not match our org chart. Our engagement was handed off to multiple contacts as people were leaving the company, greatly delaying the completion.

Streamline of local reports. The way Exactera gathers information and produces the reports is a great process. Now that we are in our 4th year with them, the process is seamless.

Cons:

It would be helpful if we could receive a word version of the reports. Not often but sometimes it is easier provide comments through track changes.
