About Vault

Vault is a cloud-native core banking and payments platform created by Thought Machine. The platform is designed to run natively in the cloud, giving banks complete control and flexibility to build the technology stack they need. Vault is used by many leading banks around the world, including JPMorgan Chase, Lloyds Banking Group, ING, Standard Chartered, and Intesa Sanpaolo.

Vault's cloud-native architecture allows banks to take advantage of cloud features such as horizontal scaling, continuous deployment, high availability, and self-healing capabilities. The platform has an API-first design and configuration layer that empowers banks to create and launch any financial product or payment scheme without constraints or dependencies. Banks have full control over the entire process and can deploy Vault on any cloud infrastructure provider.

Love how much Vault can do!

Vault helps our company have a central file saving and sharing system that works really well! We have one central place where we can save things and keep it organized so things don't get lost and we don't waste time looking for various files.

Pros:

My absolute favorite thing about Vault is that is has so many features and functions to help you save and organize your files. You can create various 'vaults' and then folders and subfolders and it makes everything so easy to find. There are also a ton of different things you can do with a file/folder. You can share files, create a file upload link so someone else can upload to it, etc. There are so many things that Vault does, I love it!

Cons:

My least favorite thing about Vault is how sometimes links that are created randomly break and are not accessible so I have to set up another link. This does not happen that often, but when it does it can take several minutes to figure out where the link was at so I can create another one.

Awesome File Sharing and More!

Vault has been so awesome for our company. We have tried other file sharing softwares, but vault allows us to save so much more for a better price and it is easy for anyone on our team to access!

Pros:

The absolute best thing about Vault is that you can easily save anything in organized folders and create links so others can also find what you saved in Vault!

Cons:

We had a issue with creating too many links to folders so we had to start putting time limits on links, adds another step when creating a link which can be annoying.

Pros:

The best function that Vault provides to me and my team is the ability to store countless amounts of information and files without the fear of losing them! It also makes it really easy for me to share what I need in a convenient link to one of my coworkers. I love that!

Cons:

There has been a few times where I could not get into vault so I had to have my team restart the software, which caused me delays in a multiple projects.

Great Storage and Shared Files System

This solves the problem of paying for large space on shared files systems or dropboxes.

Pros:

Vault makes it easy to share files through a link or requesting files through a link! I love how you can create links to folders that give access to people just to that folder!

Cons:

Sometimes the software trips up when I want to go back on folder and it takes me all the way back to the main Vault folder, I wish the movement between folders was smoother.
