Very functional but could use some interface updates

Once I learned how to use the software it was very powerful. It would be great to get a UI update to help make learning and navigating the software easier.

Pros:

The software is very feature rich and does everything I need it to, it runs well, and files are easy to share with colleagues.

Cons:

The interface feels dated which made it more difficult to learn the software initially.

Pros:

The mind map is the most impactful. It allows us to easily organize our systems mapping plan

The yearly cost seems a little high for me, but it is better than the competition programs

Review as a user and a project lead who leads 5 engineers to use Astah SysML

I have been able to use Astah SysML to create diagrams that I needed. I am still in the learning curve in getting used to the product and find the workaround to achieve some features that I am looking for.

Pros:

Inexpensive price and quick response from customer support.

Cons:

It seems that multiple engineers in the same team cannot update the model online unless they exchange the file and carry on.
