I was looking for a video hosting solution based in Europe that takes data protection seriously. For an NGO like Lemonaid & ChariTea Verein, that really matters. Ignite was easy to set up, transparent in how they handle data, and clearly built with organizations like ours in mind. Easy implementation, GDPR-friendly hosting in Europe, and very direct, personal contact. I also really appreciate how supportive Ignite is toward NGOs — you can tell they actually care.

Cons:

At the moment, there’s nothing I actively dislike. So far Ignite has been reliable, easy to use, and delivers exactly what we need without unnecessary friction.

So we don’t need consent, even under strict rules in Denmark •Ignite is eager to find the best solution for us, offers high-quality support, and has a direct contact to us

Nothing relevant. We had a few questions regarding some use cases, but Ignite was very helpful and everything is resolved. They also proactively addressed issues with our consent management platform and reached out to them for a solutions, which was easy.

They could need more visibility so that more companies start using their service. Of course I little more expensive than free YouTube

Perfect Video Hosting Solution

I’m really impressed with Ignite. It’s the perfect solution for us: easy setup, fast implementation, and the videos play without issues, even in countries with strict internet censorship. The player is intuitive, and it offers useful features like multilingual support and subtitles. The support is super fast!

Before Ignite, we were using a US-based provider, which often had issues with video playback in China. Since we operate internationally, this was a significant problem. Ignite, on the other hand, works flawlessly worldwide, including in China. Their support is also quick and solutions-oriented.

Cons:

I haven't encountered any disadvantages so far and am overall very satisfied with Ignite's video hosting.

Very positive experience with ignite.video. A European based video streaming that is cookie and consent-free. Youtube alternative.

Very positive, the UX is good and the customer service is quick to respond. The founders quickly responded to my queries, and the their service delivers what it promises. So far so good!

Cons:

Some of the video privacy related features are locked behind the more expensive tiers. Whilst understandable, I'd have liked the option to have them on the starter plan too.

The product is in parts still a bit rough, the Video Player customization could go a bit deeper. But we are happy.

None at the moment. So I don't know how to fill the hundred letters they ask me to fill for that question.

We really appreciated the easy setup of the account and also the module for embeding the video on our Website. Plattform is very easy to use. Customer support is really reactive, which was truly appreciated!

Cons:

At this point no real cons. If I have to name one is that a lot of combanies do not allow embeded links from other plattform than the usual ones.

It becomes clear right from the preliminary discussion: the company [sensitive content hidden] here work with the wishes of their customers and website visitors in mind. And they make sure that no question is left unanswered. The first impression is convincing: a clear and concise structure that is easy to navigate. Setup is quick and easy. Impression after months of use: the player displays uploaded videos in very good quality and always works flawlessly, quickly and reliably. As the owner of a PR and management consultancy, both data protection and high-quality video presentation with excellent UX are important to me. The company's communication is also impressive: Ignite is very helpful, competent and friendly when it comes to direct questions. And when newsletters are sent out, it's always worth reading them: there are always new features and helpful tips.

Cons:
