About Trackabi

Trackabi is a web-based time tracking software designed for small & medium-sized enterprises and freelancers. The platform offers invoice generation, project plans & estimates, gamification of time tracking for higher motivation & engagement, reports & invoices, screenshot capturing, used apps log, browser URL tracking, dashboards, employee leave management integrated with timesheets, time worked reports, payment management & overdue invoice alerts, sharing timesheets, data insights, Git commit import, customizable timesheets, and more.

Trackabi also includes a desktop timer for Windows, Linux, and macOS that can automatically record time worked, make screenshots, and prepare daily user activity statistics. The solution can detect record applications used and idle time, differentiating between work and leisure apps. When managing timesheets manually, Trackabi allows doing it using a daily activity timeline — simply drag your mouse to select the time you spent on a task.

Stress-free tracking with amazing support

It keeps my time tracking organized and makes reporting to my boss effortless. It just saves us both a lot of back-and-forth communication.

Pros:

Trackabi has been a huge upgrade for us. It’s super easy to set up and use, so I didn't have to waste time learning a new system. The best part is the support team, they are always online and honestly so helpful whenever I have a question.

Cons:

The only thing I don't love is that I can't see the screenshots it takes of my screen. I used to use those to backtrack and remember what I was working on if I forgot, so I miss having that visibility.

Reasons for switching to Trackabi

Hubstaff felt a bit heavy and complicated for what we needed. Trackabi is much more lightweight and easier to navigate, and the support team is way friendlier and more responsive.

Accurate time tracking that fits perfectly into my workflow

I am satisfied with using Trackabi. It accurately tracks my time (with some room for error) and allows me to summarise my time and work during my daily standups with my manager.

Pros:

This tool does exactly what I need , it tracks my time and productivity accurately. I appreciate that it isn't overly intrusive and offers the flexibility to manually log my hours, which is especially useful if I work overtime or am offline. It helps me stay focused throughout the day and makes it easy to review how I've spent my time after a long workday. Setting it up and integrating it into my workflow was straightforward, with minimal steps required. For my needs, simply starting Trackabi from the command line is sufficient. At the moment, I use it daily in accordance with my company's policies to monitor my time and productivity. It also makes it easier for me to summarize my completed tasks during daily standups with my manager. I also liked the customer support I recieved during my inital setup of trackabi - they were fast and also helped me set it up real quick

Cons:

Currently, there is no way to delete a screenshot once it has been taken. At times, I prefer not to have certain things on my laptop screen, like chats or emails, included in these captures. This brings up concerns about confidentiality, and I am left wondering what the company does with the large volume of screenshots it collects each day. I have also noticed that Trackabi sometimes records time inaccurately, even when my laptop is closed. Although I can remove the unnecessary logged time, I think this is a bug that the company should look into. Another issue I've experienced is that when I use Trackabi alongside many other windows or Chrome tabs, my laptop occasionally freezes or stops responding. This problem does not occur when Trackabi is turned off.

Please note that whether you can delete screenshots, depends on the settings of your organization account. If you can't, the account owner did that setting on purpose. Your concern is understandable, but we don't control what account owners do with screenshots. We believe they should have your consent for monitoring your activity.

Great tool for time tracking

Overall Trackabi is a great tool for time tracking. It would be great if the app autostarts on Ubuntu, for some reason it doesn't start automatically. I have tried configuring the settings, but still, the autostart doesn't work.

We can add time manually in case our network connection fails and the time tracking doesn't happen.

Cons:

Needs autostart feature on my PC boot, also there is a bug with dual boot os, time gets tracked according to the pc local time.

Very simple to use, clean interface, and makes daily time tracking fast. I like that I can log tasks quickly and generate reports without any confusion. It keeps my work hours organized and helps me stay productive.

Cons:

The mobile app could be smoother, and sometimes syncing between devices takes a bit longer. A few menus also take some clicking around before you find what you need.

Reasons for switching to Trackabi

I switched from Time Doctor because Trackabi feels lighter, easier to use, and less intrusive. It gives me the tools I need without overwhelming me with monitoring features. The interface is cleaner, the reports are easier to understand, and overall it fits better with how I work.

Top Tier Work Focus Application

Awesome time tracking tool. I like the user interface especially the activities interface. The fact that the tracker can resume immediately you're active makes me really love it.

Pros:

The tool has an easy setup. For small organizations, it's quite pocket friendly and also, coupled with the fact that they offer a 30-day free trial, that alone is enough to convince you that these guys are confident about their tool. It has useful features such as the insight which makes it possible for organizations to review their employees' activities.

Cons:

The only area that needs small improvement is the leaves feature, just include the attachments field and also add more advanced endpoints to your API. All in all, this is the best time tracking tool I've come across.

Best Tool for WFH Employee and Freelancers

Overall, great experience. Perfect for a WFH employee or a freelancer. The timer getting stopped if I don't work for a minute which is a good initiative so that we can be focused on work.

Trackerabi is cheaper and provide more features, it has an excellent customer support, it has one of the finest securities in all the competitor software.it helps in tracking time of the work and make more productive.

Cons:

I don't like its design much.it looks outdated. and showing data is too congested therefore harder to read.
