About LeaseQuery

LeaseQuery is cloud-based lease accounting software for lessees/tenants reporting under FASB and IFRS as well as both lessees and lessors reporting under GASB. The system generates accurate amortization schedules and journal entries and enables companies to meet disclosure requirements set by financial regulatory boards. It is fully compliant with the new lease accounting standards: ASC 842, IFRS 16, and GASB 87.

LeaseQuery was built by accountants for accountants and its software is complemented by the expertise of the company's in-house accountants. The system also supports the internal controls companies need to ensure the accuracy of their financial statements.

LeaseQuery offers numerous features that simplify lease accounting and management. It acts as a searchable, centralized repository for lease documents and provides automated alerts when critical dates are approaching. To prevent errors from being introduced into the system, users can set permissions based on role. Services are offered on a subscription model for number of leases. Support is provided via email and phone.

My user experience with Leasequery

It helps in various way and creates imapact on our company like lease data often seats with finance. It creates a centralized system which helps in tracking sales, logistics, operations and products now we can check them in one go and reducing these bottlenecks which helps to take better decisions while growing.

Pros:

The platform and software leasequery is very useful it helps in better financial visibility for various product decisions. It helps me in completing better compliance and risk assurance. Suppose I am opening new stock hub in different locations it helps me to track down and convert complex lease terms into accurate amortization schedule and financial disclosures.

Cons:

There is nothing to dislike about the software it is very useful for us but I agree the learning curve is difficult you need a proper training to use this platform.

This helped me ditch spreadsheets

Overall, I’ll say it takes a bit of an adjustment but then it’s so easy to use and very convenient. Especially when you’re so used to using excel spreadsheets

I like that their support team actually knows their stuff especially when you call for the very technical accounting questions, and I usually end up talking to someone who actually understands the ins and outs of the regulation

Cons:

The reporting side of things is a little confusing at first. It took me a few tries to figure out exactly how to pull a custom report without feeling like I was clicking through way too many menus. I also wish the dashboard was a bit more modern but gets the job done

Reliable, Smart, and a Huge Time Saver for Lease Accounting

Overall, LeaseQuery has been a game changer for our accounting team. It’s made our lease management process 10x more efficient, especially with ASC 842 compliance. Once you get past the initial learning phase, everything just clicks. The support team has also been incredibly responsive and actually listens to feedback, which is rare these days.

The automation! LeaseQuery takes care of all the complex lease calculations that used to take us hours (and lots of coffee) to figure out manually. I also love how easy it is to generate audit-ready reports it’s like the tool knows exactly what the auditors will ask for. The user interface is clean, and onboarding was smoother than expected.

Cons:

Some parts of the UI can feel a little rigid like if you enter a lease detail incorrectly, it’s not always easy to backtrack without starting over. Also, the learning curve in the first week was a bit steep, especially for team members who aren't used to lease accounting terminology.

I personally love using LeaseQuery because it makes lease management so much easier and more organized. The platform feels intuitive, secure, and very helpful in keeping everything in one place. The interface is very simple and easy to follow, even for people who are not highly technical. It organizes lease information clearly, and I rarely feel lost when navigating the platform. I also really appreciate the strong focus on security, since we are handling sensitive financial and tenant data. Having reporting and management tools combined in one system makes it a huge time saver and adds a lot of value for money. Overall, the user-friendly design and secure environment are what stand out the most.

Cons:

At times the system can be a little slower than I would prefer, which can be frustrating when I’m trying to complete work quickly. It also feels a little expensive compared to some alternatives, though I do recognize the value it provides. Occasionally, generating reports takes longer than expected, and I wish the performance speed was more consistent during peak usage. If those areas were improved, it would make the experience close to perfect for me.

What I appreciated most is how LeaseQuery simplifies something that’s usually a nightmare — lease accounting under ASC 842. What I like the most about least query was that while preparing disclosure reports, LeaseQuery assisted me in doing so with little to no error. The value that you receive is worth every time. Their customer support is top-tier.

It has strong customizable reporting and also it automates complex calculations ultimately saving time and minimizing errors. It also has audit ready reports and connects with ERP systems very smoothly. It is a reliable system which helps in increasing workflow speed.

Cons:

At first it may feel confusing and some steps like editing take extra efforts. Also, setting it up takes time especially if you have many messy data. System may lag during heavy tasks or if there is a large report required to generate. But in the end, it works much better.

The automation of journal entries and the amortization schedules are life-savers. It takes the guesswork out of compliance with ASC 842 and IFRS 16. The reporting module is robust and provides a clear audit trail, which makes our financial year-end much less stressful. Also, the customer support is very responsive.

Cons:

The learning curve for new users can be a bit steep because there are so many features and settings. It would be great if the user interface was a bit more modern and streamlined, but once you get used to it, it works perfectly fine.

Pros:

Once you setup it properly the relief you get, lease accounting used to be very stressful but with LeaseQuery everything is Organised and calculations work properly , i don't have to double check if I have missed something in spreadsheet.

Cons:

What I least like is that at first when you setup it it looks like big overwhelming a lot of things going on screen, and it takes time to understand everything , you don't get comfortable early- you have to spend time in it.
