Pros:

Customer support is fantastic! [sensitive content hidden] is always available to answer my questions despite the time difference. We love that it syncs with Klaviyo.

Cons:

Customized landing pages are painful. They require ultra specialized web devs to tweak more than just the plain text. If you want the actual look/feel of the email to be different at all, you will need a web dev to do it.

Pros:

They took the time to walk me through everything step by step and were always available to offer support whenever I needed it. Their responsiveness and expertise made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

Cons:

The integration process was a bit more confusing than I expected, and the backend isn’t the most intuitive. It took some time to get everything set up, but the support team was incredibly helpful in guiding me through it.

Pros:

The concept of Referral Candy is good, however their solution is problematic.

Cons:

Firstly it took ages to set up - integration was not straight forward, customer service took ages to help - lots of misunderstanding and back and forth. Then we started getting fraudulent commissions occurring - customer service originally said these were fine. We finally blocked the multiple fraudulent commissions which were 'unexplainable'. Finally just when you think things are okay, our account get's hacked/taken over despite us having a sophisticated password - somehow they changed the email address to theirs via Referral Candy's software. All I get is emails saying an attempt has been made to change my email, if this was not me please get in touch... we then could not access the account, and surprise surprise, Rererral Candy customer service is off work for the weekend. So much for the 'if this email change was not you, please get in touch urgently'.

Great product and great customer support

I was having problems with my DKIM in email setup and the customer support team were incredibly helpful and stayed in touch with me until the issue was resolved.

Great support! Shout out to [sensitive content hidden]

I ran into some issues with setup, but it was all easily resolved thanks to the help of [sensitive content hidden] He was a 10/10 for support and walked me through every step, without trying to get rid of me. He was friendly with great comms. That made my overall experience really good!! Because I was a bit confused before that.

Fit for purpose. I can create a referral program that doesn't require a customer account or website plugins.

Cons:

Not all of it is intuitive. For example: the discount codes are easy to get mixed up (referrer code vs referee code) and creating an audience segment.

A lot more complex than I originally thought - one document to have a step by step guide would be great. The guides they have now are quite useless. The blog posts are great but there are so many short ones, it's hard to find what you need
