TSPlus Puts The Others To Shame!

    5

Outstanding product. I have installed it at multiple clients and have had 200 user organizations up and running in 20 minutes. Even customizing the web pages for end users is so easy! I just did an install for a 50 user company on an Azure server and had all the users logging in and accessing their desktops in 20 minutes. It's super stable, fast and easy to administer. Microsoft Remote Desktop and Citrix products make you setup every little option and make the entire process so painful and difficult. TSPlus just installs and is ready to go out of the box. The most difficult part is cutting and pasting the license key in! Seriously, if you want a remote desktop solution, you are crazy to go with anything else. I just put TSPlus in for a company that spent a ton of money trying to get Frame working for 1 year. They could never get the Frame desktops to work due to screen refreshing over long distances. I installed TSPlus and in 30 minutes, it worked perfectly. All the screen refresh issues were gone. We literally replaced a product (Frame) that cost over $50,000 with TSPlus which cost $1200 and it works 100x better. Don't be fooled - TSPlus can go up against any remote desktop product and destroy it.

    Pros:
Super easy to use! You can have hundreds of users on remote desktops in 10 minutes literally! The installation and setup is so simple it's insane. Administration is also so easy. They load in all the defaults and the way 99% of the users will use it and allow you to customize it afterward. Microsoft and Citrix make you setup every little option. TSPlus puts in the defaults and let's you work around the defaults which makes for a super fast deployment.
    Cons:
The pricing is a little confusing. I don't like that they charge for every little module (IE. Two factor, etc) but overall the pricing is fair. It's just a little confusing sometimes.

    Reasons for choosing TSPlus

Super easy installation, great toolsets. Easy to upgrade. Super fast desktop performance. 10 minutes start to finish to deploy remote desktops.

Great option for small buneses that have remote workers.

TSplus stands for Terminal Server Plus. You can use this product on any Windows OS; a server edition is not required. If you have a few external users that need to access windows applications, placed on a Windows PRO edition, this is a brilliant solution . This is my use case. You can scale it up to include server farms and hundreds of users, but if you don't need that, you don't have to deal with any of it. This is one of the outstanding features of TSplus buy the options you need and that is all you have to deal with.  Since TSplus is making windows terminal services available to users over the internet, you will need to deal with parts of windows, there is no avoiding that. However, the administration programs they provide do a great job of taking you to the correct part of windows. TS plus doesn't tell you to add windows users. It opens the correct screen to add windows users. Not a simple task, considering all the versions of windows they support. My experience with TSplus support has been excellent. Been using the product for 3 years only need to contact support technical support once. The issue wasn't with TSplus, which I knew, but accounting software which read "available" printers from the registry. Windows Terminal Services Easy Print options create additional printers every time someone starts a session. The session's exit doesn't completely remove those printers from the registry. After a while, hundreds of printer would show up  in the accounting software, many not functional. Once again, not the fault of TSplus, but they had a solution provided by the first person who responded. Other times I have used the AI agent, and guess what it worked. Now it only works because it has a large knowledge base of content to draw from, but who has the time to wade through all those articles? All this makes TSplus manageable by mere mortals. If you can set up windows networking add users implement a Dynamic DNS service, you can set up TSplus. Hint just google Dynamic DNS if that term threw you off. Chances are your internet router will support a Dynamic DNS service directly. TSplus makes windows sessions available through several means; HTML web browser only based sessions, Microsoft's Remote Desktop Client, and their own Client. I recommend exploring their native OS client. The system presents remote users with a small menu to launch selected applications, not the full remote desktop session. This keeps users out of things they need not access to run one or two programs. The remote system displays only the client area of the running programs. Thus, programs running on the remote system appear as local program. This is incredibly important for novice users. I have seen the full-screen nature of other remote desktop software, and the lack of an obvious method to return to the local PC cause users to disconnect and reconnect to access something on their own PC. TSplus is a pleasant breath of fresh air for those that need to deal with the Microsoft world of Windows. If you ran across this review, that likely includes you.

Good Solid way to Serve Windows applications across the Internet

So far it has been very good. I had some minor issues with the setup (due to my issues) - and the support team was great at answering my questions. What really surprised me was I had some issues accessing my windows program from my tablet (using the software keyboard to enter data) - and their support team did not give up - and found the issue - which allows me to use my Samsung tablet with their applications using the software keyboard. Very impressive support.
