    Their support is great. I've had dozens of questions and they always get back to me. And they send your payments super fast. Great experience overall.

    Flat rate pricing! Oh man, this is a breath of fresh air. After using stripe and square to process payments we have absolutely loved the simplified pricing structure that Fattmerchant uses. Only paying interchange fees and a fixed monthly rate saves us $100's each month.
    Cons:
    The integrations are weak. We've had to build a few workarounds to get fattmerchant to work with our tech stack but it's been worth it.

    Outstanding. I'm busy so when I find a service I can trust and not question their practices, I stick with them. We've been with Stax for longer than I can remember at this point, and I don't plan on going anywhere.

    We've been with them for years. Always great service. [sensitive content hidden] is fantastic! Clear, concise and explains things very well. I always get a follow-email to see if there is anything else I need from her which is great because I usually forget to ask her something! :)
    Cons:
    Nothing. It's the easy button where credit card processing is concerned. No one loves paying credit card fees, but since we have to, we're happy to have Stax.

    Easy to sign up but worst experience getting simple but critical technical issues. Support and leadership both have been disappointing ao far.

    Processing rates are competitive, even though they are higher than promised. Sales team was responsive enough.
    Cons:
    Support is extremely slow and incompetent to resolve critical issues even after 6 weeks of reporting. Even the leadership doesn't understand how much 'compliance violation' can hurt a merchant and Stax itself.

    Stax sales responded first and gave me competitive rates, Helcim had better rates though but was too late

    Great Experience With STAX

    easy process from day 1, getting set up, we had guidance each step of the way as needed, the portal is easy to use when needed and the pricing structure is easy to understand

    Easy to use, saving me tons of money on CC transaction fees monthly, any time I have a questions, someone helps immediately!
    Cons:
    I don't love that the cc processor cant be used unplugged but it is no biggie! No other complaints or problems!

    The process to contact customer support went smooth once I reached a person. [sensitive content hidden] was particularly attentive and determined to assist. Stax is an excellent product that I would recommend to anyone from the credit card processing solutions to the staff that interact with you when you need support.
    Cons:
    Effort needed to get to the correct customer support representative. Talking over the intrenet is a little more challenging then speaking directly with someone.

    Would not recommend Stax

    Terrible process with poorly trained sales reps and customer service agents. I was told everything would automatically transfer over from our old processor. This was not true. I had to manually enter hundreds of autopayments. We were also told batches would automatically close out at the end of each day, also not true. We realized nothing was coming into the bank account and it cost us an enormous sum of income. Very poorly trained sales reps that were only motivated by their commission. It has taken me over 1 month to recover this income by calling hundreds of patients to re-collect payments. It made us look terrible! It was not worth the savings promised per year.

    Cost savings. We were told about $10k in annual savings. After all the fees from onboarding, etc, I think the actual annual savings was closer to $3,000.
    Cons:
    The transfering process. Stax did not activate the auto batch as promised costing the practice over $200,000 in loss income, which took about 1 month to get back. We are still missing over $15,000. Because of this I would not recommend Stax to anyone.

    We like that our offices can also use the website that is provided to take payments incase another staff member is using the terminal. Also, that we can see our payments on the portal.
    Cons:
    Nothing bad to say, every team member is great and handles everything in a timely manner. In every situation we ran into, the problem has been resolved.

    [sensitive content hidden] was extremely helpful and communicative. He went above and beyond to ensure that my request was properly completed, which is something that previous support staff did not do with me on a previous/similar request.
    Cons:
    My previous request was not handled properly back in October, so my request was not completed in that first ticket due to a less-helpful Support Specialist named [sensitive content hidden] (this person may need additional training on better supporting customers and problem-solving). This first request for help was never completed, and I ended up being ghosted.
