Pros:

The easy password management and two-factor authentication they offer are great security features. In addition, it can be used on different devices simply by logging out on one, which adds versatility.

Cons:

Sometimes, when the application is open on two computers simultaneously, it experiences technical problems and freezes on one machine, instead of the session closing on the other.

TBH I cannot list any flaws with Okta, other than you need to be a security expert to fully leverage it

I switched employers and my new one used Okta SSO instead of Google SSO, because Okta is more ubiquitous for workplace apps

What I liked most about Okta is how reliable and user-friendly it is for identity and access management. Single sign-on works smoothly and saves a lot of time by allowing access to multiple applications with one secure login. The security features, especially multi-factor authentication and centralized user management, are strong and give confidence that accounts are well protected.

Cons:

On the downside, Okta can feel complex to configure at first, especially for advanced policies and custom workflows. Some administrative tasks require a learning curve, particularly for teams without prior identity management experience.

Okta keeps our logins predictable and our support queue much smaller

The single sign on capabilities of Okta allow us to streamline identity management and hence I need to spend less time dealing with password resets and access related issues which translates into less support tickets (to an extent). Onboarding (and off-boarding) users is also faster. On the whole automation has reduced much of the 'human' error in our day to day identity related processes and increases stakeholder confidence in access motivations.

I’m using Okta for my daily life with both sso and mfa and as well as any other related provisioning across our org. It is also the only system I utilize for new hires or separations. I also like the hr integrations with our major cloud softwares because I only have to manually enter new hire onboarding information one time and then its all automated for the rest of their new hire process which really saves my time helps to clean my interface.

Cons:

Custom app integrations and oauth configurations took me longer than expected and the admin console performance was also slow and it felt buggy when it should be snappier. I also get the sense that most of g suite could operate outside of g suite no matter how many apps.

I like okta because it’s a very unique site for an authentic verification it’s very easy to manage and get worked pass through the active help of customer support if when needed, Okta is known for strong security, the fact that it allows to sing in to multiple applications with one set of credentials,it’s giving a 100/100 to me and I will highly root go okta.

Being honest without a doubt okta is very much flexible to use and recommended,it’s quit expensive in cost but worth every penny of it when being purchased. Although integrations, and automation often requires experienced IT staff and can take time.
