Akiflow is a productivity application that combines tasks and calendars. It is built focusing on speeding up the fundamentals of productivity, enabling users to save time, avoid cognitive overload, distractions, overscheduling context switching and other errors to improve productivity.

Akiflow automatically collects tasks from multiple sources like email, Slack and Asana and uses shortcuts to empower the user to process new tasks at 10 times the average speed. Akiflow provides a clear overview of the entire schedule. Akiflow offers various features to speed up the work. its share availability feature allows users to share time slots with other members via email. Every time a meeting starts, a smart notification will share the link to join the call.

love akiflow. less time scheduling = more time getting things done

i love how well-integrated akiflow has become into my entire productivity workflow. adding/editing tasks takes me just a second since their command bar feature parses the natural language -> less time scheduling = more time getting things done

Pros:

a lot of things - probably most of all the command bar + how easy calendar is. I live and die by my calendar and I've always been a die-hard gcal user so was skeptical at first about akiflow. But they totally won me over: share custom availabilities, quick event creation and the awesome shortcuts are a gamechanger

Cons:

i wish there was an android widget for quick task creation!

Pros:

Nearly to many Pro's to mention. The overall look and feel is superb, and the colour palette is gorgeous. The UI & UX are fantastic, with plenty of options to make the look and feel your own. The new AI auto tagging is so helpful and intuitive, not sure how I managed beforehand.

Cons:

It needs more API integrations, but I believe they are working on that. The price could be a little lower in comparison to a few other options out there, although Akiflow is still a superior product.

Reasons for switching to Akiflow

Ease of use of the product, the transition to akiflow was seamless too, and their team are willing to listen to users and make changes based on feedback.

A Product with Promise but a Ways to Go

-integrated all in 1 task management, calendar management, integrations

Cons:

-complete disappointment there is no time component to deadlines for tasks; a fundamental feature Akiflow (AF); AF is missing an industry standard for some of reason -constant bugs/glitches; have not been able to trust my AF calendar. Every few days there is something and I have to reach out to support constantly. Resolving issues takes time as well

Thought Akiflow would be better. Kind of disappointed now.

Akiflow is one of the best Calendar systems on the market

Overall, my experience with Akiflow has been really beneficial to me. The team is obviously actively working on the platform. They communicate really well. They provide really solid support. And these things have just all gotten better over time. So that all instills confidence and leaves sort of the sense of a good experience overall. Then from a task management perspective, Akiflow has been really, really useful to me. And the fact that there's a great calendar built in on top of that, I'll take it. So A+ on the overall experience.

Pros:

AkiFlow is a really well-polished system. I use it daily for calendaring, in which it shines when I am attempting to schedule meetings across time zones, when I'm sharing my availability, when I'm managing my tasks. Really everything that I would want AkiFlow to do, it does well. So what I like the most about it is that it is so comprehensive a solution, and then the second thing I really like about it is that the team is working very hard on the platform. We, users, typically see a new release, a new update every week, maybe every two weeks, but rarely does it take them a month to push out a big or any update to the system. And this is in kind of direct contrast to a lot of other tools in the calendaring and task management space where you might not see updates until two months down the line, three months down the line. They're just really not that visible with their roadmap, and AkiFlow certainly is.

Cons:

I would like to see Akiflow focus a little more on their iPad app. There is an iPad app that fits the iPad form factor, and essentially it does have all of the functionality that the iOS app has. But it is a little bit more clunky, and the team at OAkiflow seems to know about this, and I'm sure they're working on it. They've really put a lot of time into their iOS app recently, and that's really become a great everyday calendar application and task management application on iOS. This is in contrast to some other tools on the market that maybe don't update, even though they're connected to Google Calendar as well, just as quickly, but Occyflow is really solid, the iOS app is really solid in that way. So I think I would really like to see them put some additional time into the iPad app. The other thing that I don't love is that some of the third-party integrations can act wonky sometimes. Sometimes they're absolutely fine, but a quick perusal of the Akiflow Slack channel, one of the things that you'll see is maybe a Todoist integration issue or a ClickUp integration issue, but I'm searching for something there to say that I don't like. Those issues are typically rectified pretty quickly.

Reasons for choosing Akiflow

AkiFlow really has no issues with data siloing as opposed to Motion. Some tools just don't really integrate and connect with many other systems and that's not the world that we live in. And so one of my main criteria, and my team's main criteria, was to find a tool whose data we were able to use in other places and could make better use of the data that we have in other systems. Without that, it was a no-go for us.

Reasons for switching to Akiflow

I switched to AkiFlow really because I wanted one app to calendar and manage my tasks rather than two apps. I could not understand why I would do those things in separate places. After evaluating VimCal, Motion, AmyCalendar and so on, AkiFlow was the only one that seemed like they were building something that was in line with what I needed.

Akiflow -- first two weeks

So far, I am satisfied because it works relatively well as a single source of truth. There is much that can be improved in terms of defining tasks, and I would like to have more capabilities for the integrations with Slack and similar tools (for example pushing new tasks from Akiflow directly).

I started using Akiflow to have a single source of truth for my various apps. I needed a place where all tasks come together, giving me an overview of what is still on my to-do list. Akiflow has a sleek user interface, and I like that it elevates tasks (instead of the calendar kanban view). I also like the integration with WhatsApp for ease of adding new tasks. The AI tool works relatively well.

Cons:

I would like better clarity around the difference between tasks, events, blockers in the calendar. It gets confusing, and the app does not handle it well. Also, depending on how you define tasks, they get visible (or not) in the main calendar, which means that you will only rely on the main inobx, making most of the other features less valuable. The integrations with Slack and Clickup are okay (only one-way), and they can get confusing (new tasks appear when you flag messages in Slack, for instance). It is definitely an expensive tool, and I don't think the price is justified.

Most Flexible Task Management and Planning app I have found so far.

Overall experience is good, [sensitive content hidden] and other team members are helpful. The product is good and there is a integration for almost everything. They have native apps on all the platforms. Akiflow really helped me in getting organised better.

I really liked how you can integrate all your accounts , Multiple Teams, Slack, Calenders, Clickup and Jira. Being a Project coordinator this really helped me. Besides their support team really helped me getting everything integrated fast. Especially [sensitive content hidden], He helped me a lot during onboarding.

Cons:

The one feature that i would believe will be nice to have is to attach documents and media files with a task.

Pros:

The product is a great value for the price. I have reached out to their customer service team twice and both times they were super helpful. Peache from their customer service team was super understanding and responded to my messages quickly.

Cons:

The chat with Aki feature does not always do what you ask it to. It's a great concept and hopefully with some tweaks it will become an even greater asset to this software.

Pros:

I enjoy the ease of scheduling reoccurring tasks for the months ahead, the color coding for tasks and how it helps tie my schedule together in my brain.

Cons:

There is a need for manual adjustment in time slots instead of the syste. Being able to calculate and auto input the time values.
