About DreamClass

DreamClass is a school and classroom management solution designed to help educational institutions, such as schools, colleges, dance studios, language academies and more, manage operations. The platform, which is deployed within the cloud, provides tools for managing students, attendance, grades, teachers, finances and other operations.

With the DreamClass school management system, educational organizations can track student admissions, monitor student progress, track payments and more. Students are assigned a personal student portfolio, which includes information such as contact information, grades, attendance and payment history. Payments can be tracked and logged as paid, pending or overdue. DreamClass offers a student and guardian portal, which allows parents and students to access information including timetables, financials and more.

DreamClass pricing scales depending on the number of students and custom quotes can be provided to schools with over 300 students. Support is provided via an online form and searchable knowledge base.

Pros:

DreamClass is very feature-packed student information management system at an amazing price. It combined a lot of functionality that was previously distributed across different spreadsheets and apps. It allows us to unify everything from application, to classroom management, to grading, and communication. Also, the customer service has been top-notch and extremely responsive.

Cons:

Some features are limited, or not implemented in the way that would work best for our type of program, but customer service has been extremely helpful in doing things on the back end for us, and even taking our suggestions to the development team as feature requests.

Reasons for choosing DreamClass

Provided most of the features we required at an amazing price; and a lot more options for customization as needed.

DreamClass is a powerful SMS that is streamlining and elevating our School's operations.

The team at DreamClass is dedicated to outstanding customer service. Lida and the team have made the task of changing our system as smooth as possible and we are looking forward to a long term relationship.

Pros:

First and foremost, the best thing about DreamClass is their team! DreamClass solved several pain points with our previous system, making our enrollment and financial process smoother. The user interface is well-organized and easy to understand with student/parent portals being a significant improvement over our last SMS. DreamClass is a cost effective and integrated solution to replace our use of Google Classroom and makes it easy for us to be GDRP compliant. The development team is very responsive, quickly addressing user feedback and consistently introducing enhancements that improve functionality. Very important for small organizations: DreamClass provides an amazing SMS solution at a very reasonable price point!

Cons:

DreamClass is rapidly developing, which is great because it means continuous system improvements. That said, it also presents a challenge in keeping user documentation consistently up-to-date. This is a temporary hiccup and in the meantime the support team is always there to answer questions.

Reasons for choosing DreamClass

As a small school, we needed to find the best value with the features that matter the most. We had a "wishlist" of features created by one of our admins and DreamClass was the clear winner for value and features.

Reasons for switching to DreamClass

QuickSchools has outstanding support (which is much needed because it is not intuitive). The user interface is outdated. There were complaints from students, instructors, and parents regarding the system. Also, we needed a solution that would integrate payments and replace Google Classroom. Best of all, DreamClass is less expensive so we have upgraded AND are reducing costs.

Seamless Transition & Support with DreamClass

We have loved the onboarding team! Lida has been so helpful in getting us setup for success. We we forced to migrate mid-year from another platform and Lida helped us to get setup to begin in March. Lida listened to our needs and how our program was set-up and gave practicals on the best way for us to setup our school for the 25-26 school year. They also heard our feedback on what aspects are important to us and are re-programming some features to implement for our 25-26 school year. The team is quick to respond and we truly feel like they listen to our needs. Although DreamClass is unable to fulfill all of our needs at the moment, we have been encouraged that our feedback is heard and that they will look to revisit in the near future. We are happy with our decision to move to DreamClass and look forward to our long partnership!

Pros:

Having the school calendar, student financials, attendance, assignments, SIS and applications all in one place is the greatest benefit. We had 4 different platforms prior to DreamClass and are now able to function as a school in one. This has been extremely effective and efficient.

Cons:

Communication: We are a small private college and our students are all adults. Communication between students is a challenge as they are unable to communicate with their specific classes and have to click each student individually to send a message. Our Admin team are also instructors (professors); however, in order for students to message our admins, we have to be listed as instructors. Due to our size, we need more flexibility with communication. There is not 2-way communication; therefore, you are unable to reply to one another within DreamClass and can only reply via email when the message is sent through DreamClass. It would be more effective to have 2-way communication built in. Also, having communication notifications. If you receive a new message you can see it in DreamClass, but there isn't a notification in DreamClass to notify you of this.

Reasons for switching to DreamClass

Their pricing was too high and we were unable to incorporate student financials and applications into this system.

Our over all experience in a short amount of time has been positive. Their team worked closely with us as we switched over from another platform. And took as many calls and emails from us as necessary to ensure we feel confident in managing this platform for our school.

I enjoy that students have access to things like attendance, financials and their current grade in one spot the second they login. I also love the customer service. Whenever a problem occurs [sensitive content hidden] is quick to answer and take action on our behalf.

Cons:

We are still adjusting to the new platform and have submitted feedback. I wish it was easier for students to communicate with teachers and administrators in the platform.

Reasons for switching to DreamClass

Our contract was coming to an end and we were wanting to switch anyway. Had to make a more abrupt switch as they wanted us to pay more money for a 3 month contract extension than we would be able to.

A Great All-in-One System

[sensitive content hidden], and the team at DreamClass have been super supportive and friendly. They helped us set up our educational enrichment program (classes, pod tutoring, and private tutoring) so that we could start using DreamClass for the second semester. DreamClass is definitely a learning curve for us, but it is a valuable tool.

Pros:

DreamClass imported student, teacher, and parent information from a CVS file. It helps with our admissions process, and it gives teachers a place to set up grades and attendance.

Cons:

The email templates and recurring lessons are hard to edit. I also wish it could integrate with QuickBooks.

Pros:

DreamClass allows our educational program to have a one-stop solution for registration, attendance, communication, gradebook, and calendar events! It has been a huge blessing to Anchor Enrichment Academy and we have enjoyed the setup process.

Cons:

There are some minor issues with the forms and invoices, but we are working with the team to get them sorted out.

Reasons for switching to DreamClass

Sawyer did not have the registration forms we wanted and the billing was too complicated for our program. Also the attendance and gradebook features we want were missing.

Great School Management Software

DreamClass is a very user-friendly and straightforward school management software. As a small school, we’re very happy to have found it. Our previous software was overly complicated and time-consuming, which took our attention away from supporting our students. DreamClass has made a big difference by simplifying our admin tasks and letting us focus on what really matters.
