About Pirate Ship

Pirate Ship is a cloud-based shipping management solution that helps small businesses manage and streamline all processes related to purchasing and printing of shipping labels. The centralized platform lets users search shipments, create USPS scan forms by labels or batches and export transaction data to store in enterprise records.

Key features of Pirate Ship include ground shipping, import/export, quotes/estimates, shipment tracking, air shipping and parcel shipping. It allows managers to import e-commerce orders from platforms such as eBay, Shopify, Etsy, Cratejoy, WooCommerce, and more. Additionally, businesses can use its shipping spreadsheet module to directly upload addresses in various formats including CSV, ODS, XLS and XLSX files, facilitating operations across the organization.

Enterprises can use Pirate Ship to create and send email notifications to recipients for multiple shipments. Support is extended to customers via online measures.

Pirate Ship is a must for Shipping!

Overall, my experience with Pirate Ship has been pretty good and is a valuable alternative to having to go to a retail store to pay for shipping.

Pirate Ship is a great service for sending out my packages at a reasonable rate compared to paying retail.

Cons:

The shipping rate can be cheaper but I understand it can be only negotiated so much that would make everyone happy.

Pros:

PirateShip is an amazing free shipping service that has become a secret weapon of mine as a business owner! Not needing to rely on the website I am selling from (such as Mercari, Poshmark, Depop) for overpriced shipping, and the ease of being able to process multiple orders at once is seriously a game changer!

Cons:

Its a bummer more people aren't using it! I think if more people that weren't just business owners used PirateShip, we could have more real gifts and letters being sent to people instead of virtual gift cards!

It is so much easier to get the best prices through PirateShip than to look it all up yourself.

Best shipping program on the market!

My overall experience with the program has been fantastic! It has allowed me to organize my logistical matters for my small business and be able to compete due to their economy of scale pricing they pass on to the small business owners.

Pros:

I run several ecommerce websites and I needed a shipping software that would pull orders in from each place, and some marketplaces so that I could run an efficient shipping department. Pirate Ship did that for me. Unfortunately, there was some sort of server level firewall issue with one of my WordPress sites that started blocking the connection. The Pirate Ship customer service team was amazing! They spent a lot of time helping me figure out the issue and explaining what was happening. In the end, it was something my ISP needed to fix and they weren't able to isolate the problem so I had to switch to a different shipping software. I was sad because it's rate to find a company that goes above and beyond like the Pirate Ship team did. I'm hoping I will be able to use them again in the future.

Cons:

The issue I had wasn't with the software but with my ISP. It was blocking the connection and kept dropping the feed of orders.

Pirate Ship did not have monthly fees and the shipping prices were good.

Reasons for switching to Pirate Ship

I initially made the switch because stamps.com had monthly fees and the interface was clunky.

This IS the bottle of rum you're looking for!

Amazing experience. The staff reaches out and is very helpful. I muddled through trying to figure out other software and learned Pirate Ship's software in about 10 minutes. I love Pirate Ship!

Pros:

Pirate Ship has made it super easy to do what I need to do in order to get packages out the door and to my customers in a timely manner. No more waiting in line. No difficult setup. No exorbitant fees to use the service. A great tool for small business people.

Cons:

It doesn't have as many options as some other software, but it's ease of use makes up for it.

They're expensive and complicated to use. I canceled my free trials without even purchasing anything.

The pricing on this software is pretty awesome. I gave this a try and was stoked that pricing was much cheaper than the postal service options that I was using for etsy.

Best independent shipping platform
