As a proposal writer, I have helped upload responses to RFPs many times. Ariba makes sense in terms of organization. The uploader must take time to understand any limits or requirements for Ariba to work correctly.

The ease in which you can customize the input type makes Ariba a valuable tool. By allowing individual questions to be answered or allowing whole documents to be uploaded, you can gather information in a manner that makes the most sense to you.

Cons:

Because of the level of customization available, there are times where there may be a logic error which we don’t realize until after we have tried to submit a document or a question or an attachment. There are just a few too many ways to cause mistakes.
